what do i do ?

Good afternoont everyone,

i make about about 10k a month after taxes

califronia

married with 2 kids

only debt is our house 405k on it.

50k in emergancy fund

200$ a month on 529

about 150k in a HYSA

no retirement,

house payment is about 2,500 a month

i save about 2k every month my choice is either work on paying off the house then invest after or investing it in the stock market

i was thinking to put that 150k into the stock market and add 2k a month then pay off my house. but i think paying off the house feels more comforting .....

what would you do ?

with your hard earned sacrifice, what are you using the VA comp to help you mentally, financially?

I know we prefer to have our best health rather than the VA comp. Unfortunately, we are all in this situation. I know having this gives us a step ahead of the rest, but how are you using it to go further? How has having VA Comp impacted your life? What is your story?

For me, it helps me feel at peace in mind that I don't have to worry financially since I live below my means. This has helped me focus on what matters: my education and my family. helped me set up a 529 plan for my kids. I am blessed, yes, and no.

california

make about 10k after taxes

No debt

age 30, 2 kids, married, and I am the only income

house payment, 2500 (current 400k 6.25% 30 year loan baought it last august)

100k 6-month emergency fund in a HYSA ( enough if I lose my job and house issues occur or both)

529 plan

100k in another HYSA (this i can use to pay the house)

No investments

After everything, I still save 2700$ a month.

I don't know which is better: paying off my house aggressively or investing aggressively?

i do want to pay this house off and rent it out and buy another. VA Loan
