trying to use a rolled hem tool to sew bedsheet on the back of a tshirt quilt faster

hi, I'm currently stitching a tshirt quilt. right now I'm trying to stitch a bedsheet for the backing of the t-shirt quilt so it has a stronger back. I got a rolled hem tool so I could not have to pin the edges of a full bedsheet onto the quilt. basically just to make it faster. the tool is working. I checked it on a spare cloth but I'm not sure how to incorporate it into the bedsheet. I'm pretty new to sewing so I'm not sure if I understand all the terminology and complex instructions over text. any and all advice is welcome but if there is anyone that would be willing to get on a video call with me, I would forever and ever appreciate that. I'm also willing to pay you for your time.

my cat might be anxious or territorial and I've never seen her like this

hi reddit, I've never been here before but I'm a lil concerned so I just wanted some advice. let me start with this, it's not my cat but my boyfriends. I go to his place every night so I've grown super close with her in the last 5 months. ever since we met, he's been saying that she gets really lonely during the day because when we come home for the night she always wants alot of attention and is loud. super fair. after 4 months of knowing her and her loving me, I suggested that maybe during the day she could stay at my place since I work from home. (clarification: I do have a large set up so I can't just move everything to his place) we tried that for the first time when she came over for a few days, she was happy, hanging out with me, she ate her food properly. BUT, this is where the problems start - my roommate has a cat too and while they have only seen each other (we obviously didn't let them hang out since it was too much for them). when she saw him AFTER A WEEK (the full week she was fine), she hissed at him twice. we were startled but we're like ok maybe she got upset at him or sensed danger, idk. we took her home after a few nights and in the car she was shivering, crying and just inconsolable. I got really scared and we took her home. when we opened the car door to get her out, she leapt and ran for the streets. I ran behind her and caught her, took her home and even after we got home, she was crying a lil and shivering. she was aloof that night but next day it was ok. (she's been a lil upset in the car before but never anything so bad. she'll just be scared because of the speed but once she gets back in a house, she's so fine) ever since then she was back to normal would eat and just hang out with us all day.

then after a week, we tried again, this time not letting the two cats even see each other, carrying her in her harness, giving her treats every step of the way. basically just making this as easy as we can. again, she was hanging out on my desk. fed properly. all was good. after 2-3 nights, my roommate's cat slowly came into my room and even though she was sitting on the chair with me, she ran behind him and we had to run behind her. she was meowing a lil when we took her back to my boyfriend's place that night in the carrier. but nothing like last time. just uncomfortable in the car and didn't like to be in the carrier but thats normal.

is she ok? should I not get her to my place at all? anything to make this transition easy for her? am I missing something?

she's normally so sweet. we've never seen her hiss or swat or be mad at anyone. she's a very friendly cat. (sorry this post is long but I wanted to include as much detail as possible)

What am I doing wrong?

hey, I'm super new to this. I have over 3k DVDs that I inherited from my best friend's father and I'm attempting to digitize all of them. I know that this is a massive undertaking with no prior experience but everything I'm reading online says that it's super easy. just time consuming.

  1. MakeMKV is only saving everything as ISO. How do I change the output to MKV? I'm happy to re-encode using Handbrake but I want to know if there is something I'm missing

  2. Everything I'm digitizing is only 720/480p. Maybe it's because all of them are old movies but just wanted to check in incase there's something I'm missing

  3. It says that you can change the properties using some disc icon on the MakeMKV interface but I don't see it and once when I tried and clicked on the main DVD Player looking thing, it saved everything as different files (each chapter or title was saved separately)

  4. Looking at the process (video) of what I'm doing, is there anything I can be doing better?

  5. Each ISO is under 10G and reading on the internet, all that looks right. But should I be saving each ISO for backup or once I convert it to MP4, I can just delete them because this will add up pretty quickly

Please please help ya girl out!
