My girlfriend was threatened at her workplace.

Hi! Today my(21cf) girlfriend(21tf) was threatened at work today. She works at a smoke shop and has been forced to work alone despite being the only transgender woman there. She always does what she has to in order to keep herself safe, (Not wearing makeup, changing her voice, etc) and has talked to me about how frustrating it all is.

Today, though, she is working a morning shift and had a customer come in who she assumed had just gotten out of prison (He was holding his official release clothes, cash, etc). He spent over 900$, speaking irrationally, asking my girlfriend to take down items, get them out of the box, just to put them back onto the shelves. After about the fifth box, while he kept demanding more things, she got frustrated and asked him to leave. He got agitated, saying, "You wouldn't want to be in my prison cell." Before inching back slowly as she threatened to call the police.

My girlfriend called me right after, and we talked. She's calling the manager of HR, who is her older sister (Not the greatest person, unfortunately), but is worried it will be shrugged off as "Just something we deal with." Which is INSANE to me. She is the only trans woman in that company; it felt to me like a targeted threat, so I suggested that, no matter the answer, she come home as soon as she can, in case he shows up again (Her next customer saw him outside; she kept me on the phone). I googled a few things on how to best support my girlfriend in this time (dealing with this threat, potentially losing her job for leaving, etc.), but none of them are trans specific articles. Any advice would mean the world. The shops have audio and video cameras, so if anything legally can be done with this, that would also be a major help.

feelings of jealously

hi! I (f21) and my partner (mtf21) have been together for nearing five years - she came out around a year down the line, and started e around a year ago. She is the shining light of my life, she makes me so so very happy, but like a lot of other trans couples, we struggle when it comes to sex. I think it may fall on me mostly, because I feel jealous of her, and have felt more as her body has begun to change due to e.

I've always had a very skinny and beanpoleish figure, struggled with my femininity, and have been misconstrued many times as a trans woman, which i have no issue with, but when wanting to feel like myself, I just dont feel it. My girlfriend now has fuller hips and thighs, a bigger butt and a rounder face, shes so beautiful and im so attracted to her - but there have been so many times when something that doesn't fit me, or my hips dont fill something out, it fits her like a glove and she looks beautiful. she complains about her growing pains as well, her hips and breasts filling out, and I just want to cry because im stuck with the flat body I have.

Ive struggled with my gender alot, even going entirely by he/him pronouns because it took more effort to be perceived as feminine. But Im a woman, and i want to be the curvy, changing and growing woman, but watching my girlfriend go through it all, knowing that im just stuck with what I have (which isnt much) makes me feel so sad, jealous, and honestly like im playing the world's smallest violin for myself. I know she would give anything to have the body I do, and i feel guilty talking about it all. I want the thighs and the curves and the fullness she now has, that I never have. it makes me feel like im throwing a pity party for myself, but I just want to feel like i can be just as feminine in my relationship as my girlfriend.

stepped on glass, and I feel so defeated :(

marking as NSFW for many reasons, but dang! I (f21) stepped on glass for the first time EVER yesterday, and it is not budging 😭 I've tried warm water, but the glass is small, yet halfway out, so I cant walk properly. I cant even look at it without getting sick, or crying and begging my girlfriend to help me take it out. She has tried, but I howl like a banshee and cry like a baby :( I feel so awful for this entire thing, but the idea of being in that pain again, just for the unsure chance of it coming out has truly wrecked my mental state. OCD has definitely played a huge part in this, and I just wish I felt like those around me, without it, who can tough through the pain on themselves. It feels so small, but when it comes time to do something about it, im a blubbering mess, biting a wallet and all. I don't know if its worth trying to get out, I don't know if I have the strength or pain tolerance to do so, but im moving into an apartment, so there's no time for me to be off my feet, (despite my girlfriend's assurance that she doesn't mind taking the weight). The guilt is putting me through it, as much as the glass is. I don't know what to do, I just feel so empty. I feel like I have no options without Healthcare, I don't know if its right to ask for advice about things like this here, but I truly feel so alone in this situation :(

how do you get glass out of your heel with the least amount of pain?

hi there! I stepped on glass for the first time as a 21 y/o yesterday, and unfortunately it has been a very painful process trying to get it out. My poor girlfriend has seen me bite a wallet and scream like an animal while she's tried to tweeze it out, (I cant do it myself, i threw up at the sight of it) I cry like a baby every single time beforehand and have a freak out afterwards. I've tried warm water soaks, haven't put any pressure on it at all, and as a chronic overthinker, I'm just outright not sure what to do :( An ER visit isnt in my personal budget, as I don't currently have Healthcare. It's a very small shard, sticking out about halfway, but its stubborn. Any advice for a girl with a heinously low pain tolerance would be very very appreciated !!

edit: after nearly THREE DAYS, (and the help of half an ativan)I mustered up the strength to let my girlfriend's mom give it a go, and it is GONE!!! I CAN WALK!! thank you all so very much for the help, it really helped me realize I just have to be strong and do it :) 🥳

candy name?

hi candy nation! my girlfriend's grandma loved these candies, and would always give her one as a kid! She and I are wondering if anyone recognizes the wrapper, even though its flattened out (we only had one more)! Her grandma was Slovenian, and would bring them home from the Slovenian church :) the candy itself comes in different flavors, Im pretty sure represented by the color on the top!(This one was an oval and orange with darker orange speckles, and tasted very citrusy!)
