I have to ask, are any of these tank designs real?

I found this website for introducing tech trees to World of Tanks, an on the Czech page it showed off quite a few tank designs. With the ones pictured being a few of them. As I have never heard of these designs and can't really find anything on them.

The ones in the pictures are labled in order:

Pic 1: ShH-PP K1

Pic 2: Tarta T-32

Pic 3: ShH-T-22

Pic 4: ShH-ST-I

Pic 5: ShPLK HKL6P

I really have no clue about any of these designs nor if they are even real. As a few of the designs in the tech tree such as the Tygr (P) 105 or the ShH-T-25 I could look up and find information on, but the rest of these I just have no clue about. I presume that pic 4 is TD conversions of the Skoda T-22, but I still can't find info on it outside of the Tech Tree website.

I started my Thousand Sons, and just painted my Helbrute (about 70%). Any recommended for next units?

My current army is;

1 Helbrute

2 units of Rubrics

1 Ahriman

1 Infernal Master

2 units of Scarab Occult Terminators

I was thinking of getting a Heldrake and running my Kroot Carnivores and Flesh Shaper as Zangor and their respective character (with the fluff of being mercinaries hired by the Thousand Sons), but what else would be a recommended next unit to get?

Had Freedom Unite been ported to steam in 2014, at the same time when it was ported to iOS, do you think Capcom would've delisted it in 2019?

Idk, I was curious as it seems that Capcom post world seemed to just cancel almost every pre World game that was currently alive. As Frontier was shut down in 2019, Online was shut down in 2019, Explore was shut down and delisted in 2019, Freedom Unite for iOS was delisted in 2019, same for Dynamic Hunting.

So if Freedom Unite were on Steam do you think it would've been "purged" along with the other Monster Hunter games, that were beign shut down or delisted around that time?

Because part of me thinks that they might've delisted it from steam and shut down the online servers which were added to the iOS port (and this hypothetical PC port). But I also feel like that Capcom might not have delisted the game if it recieved a massive sales boost on Steam, after World and Iceborne released. As it would have been the only other Monster Hunter game on PC for people new to World to really sink their teeth into in the time between World's final title update and Iceborne's release in 2020 (on PC anyways.).

Hey, I was thinking about a Triassic park sim that'd be neat.

I was mulling over this idea in my head, partially because it is a great excuse for me to make 3D models of the animals which I picked. But also because I wanna try making a game, and thought it'd be a good excuse to learn more on coding after learning some Python.

Anyways, I was looking for some ideas as to what animals might be a good addition to it, As I could think of these. But I don't wanna balloon the roster to a very large proportion, as I have done to my other ideas like a prehistoric Aquarium game. (that somehow ballooned to 175 species) As well as maybe an idea for a building or game mode. idk. I really am just spit balling and I didn't think it would be wise to ask the Paleontology subreddit as that is more for serious discussions on actual paleontology not "omg look how cool T-Rex is, could Spinosaurus win in a fight against other theropod?!?", or even necessarily this idea, as right now its just spit balling.

Premise;
This is a game focused on Triassic fauna and flora. The primary animal life will be that of Pseudosuchians, additionally there will be more so a focus on terrestrial fauna since this is not an aquarium game (that comes later). An FPS will be something I would love to have but is not mandatory. The game would have an artstyle that is based upon the works of Verdwenen Werelden.

Game Modes:
Achievements of the Millennia (Campaign);
A linear Story mode to get the basics down/ get you used to certain mechanics as well as offer a different experience than both challenge and normal start modes.

A Pseudo Crisis (FPS What if Story Mode);
This is a different kind of story mode that is more focused on getting the player used to the FPS mechanics. Also you get some cool unlockable species or buildings from this mode.

Zero to Hero (Normal Start);
The animals initially available to you are randomized, and you can pick from a variety of different locales to start your park.

Roll Back Time (Challenge);
A mode that has a wide variety of challenges that range from being the literal tutorial to being extremely hard. Completing each challenge in this mode either unlocks more content, or it is just here to be a challenge mode for the fun of it.

Spared No Expense (Normal Sandbox);
A normal Sandbox mode that allows you to just build whatever you desire but you still require guests and fences.

Wildlife Reserve (No Building Sandbox);
It’s a sandbox mode that is purely dedicated towards just having your animals roam around the map with little to no buildings available to be built.

I am excited to paint it, but I do find it funny how it has happened twice now.

Also I really hope GW refreshes the two Riptide variants into plastic upgrade sprews as I really wish that all 3 were more easily available. (Without needing to buy an out of print Forgeworld kit or getting a 3D printed one) As they all look really cool.

▲ 39 r/kroot

After reading Primary Instincts, I really hope GW makes an official Psychic Kroot one day, it'd just be really cool.

With how the Psychic Kroot are in the story, I think they'd be really cool additions to the tabletop. As the only Kroot who actively fought in the story, were "feral" and were able to each make 2 psychic clones that were then able to physically interact with the space marines of the Silver Skulls.

So it'd be neat then, if for Psychic Kroot they introduced 2 units. A Psychic Kroot Shaper, and Psychic Kroot Hunters (or Carnivores, or Farstalkers, really any name that can be thought up which might work for the basic infantry.)

With the Psychic Kroot Hunters, I think it'd be neat if they were given something to represent their illusions. Which maybe gives each Kroot model in the unit of 4 (as there were 4 real Psychic Kroot, which were fought, 1 by itself, and 3 that appeared later.), a Feel no Pain on 4's. Idk, I am not positive. With them having the melee profile of:

Enhanced Claws: A4, WS4, S5, AP -1, D2

As in the novel it mentioned how they easily tore through the armor of space marines, while also being strong enough to throw one marine into a tree breaking their arm.

But for the Psychic Kroot Shaper, maybe his ability could be that he gives [Precision] to Psychic Kroot units while leading them along with maybe giving them the ability to use a ranged psychic attack while leading fellow Psychic Kroot. Idk what kind of abilities he'd have as the Psychic Kroot leader (or Alpha as it was called.) didn't do much apart from appearing at the end of the story. But I imagine that as they were described as being physically more impressive than his other Kroot, he'd have a stronger attack maybe while also using psyker powers, maybe inheriting an ability from the Eldar, since they were eaten to provide the kroot their abilities.

It would be neat, even though this story is a bit old from 2011, if it resulted in a new Psychic Kroot model or two to flesh out a Kroot army more.

[H] Cities of Sigmar half of Cities of Ash vs box set, [W] Kroot or CSM in equal amount of units, [Loc] Altamonte Springs

I have an assembled collection of the Cities of Sigmar half of the Cities of Ash vs Box set that comes with terrain and Skaven.

Photo of them.

With them being,
1 Jorvan Kreel
1 Thexa the Ash Panther (is token not actual unit)
1 Mallus Forgepriest
5 Freeguild Gallants
10 Freeguild Grenadiers

They are about 520 pts in AOS

I was wondering if maybe I could trade them and their sprews for maybe a Combat Patrol Kroot or Combat Patrol CSM. If you have a random assortment of kroot and CSM (2 characters generic and 2 infantry) then thats more than fair a trade.

I was bored and decided to do the math for the points per dollar of every T'au unit. (that isn't Legends)

As the title says I was bored and decided to do the math for points per dollar of every unit not in Legends, as outside of Tactical Drones, none of them are available for purchase. The prices are all from GW, as I have 3 local game stores. One which sells 15% bellow GW prices, one at GW prices, and another that sells 15% higher than GW prices. With none of them overlaping in what figures are available.

All of the ones pictured are the units which are worth 1.5 points per dollar or more at GW prices. Resutling in an army that is worth 2,135 pts and costing $1,242 without tax. Again presuming you are buying new at GW prices.

If you don't buy the Warshaper and Firewarriors, it comes down to 1,985 pts, and $1,143. For an, interesting 2k list.

Or for the most points efficient 2k list, (which is as many of only the most efficient points per cost units) it would be Twin Lance, 3 Stormsurges, 3 Hammerheads, 1 Razorshark, and 1 Kroot Flesh Shaper. For 2k points at $1,059.

This is an aside that I find funny about Farsight and that is that he is cheaper points wise than a squad of 4 tactical drones as they are 75pts vs his 70 pts. Tactical Drones are also the tied 4th most points per dollar efficient unit in the army if you allow Legends. At $40 for 75 points, making them 1.875 pts per dollar and tied with the Hammerhead.

Idk much about fighting knights, How bad is this list for fighting them?

The person I'll be fighting has only 2 Armorgers, idr what all of their knights are, but I was just wondering, how badly would my army do against a 2k big knights list?

If need be, I can make my Devilfish to a Sky Ray, as well as change my 2 broadsides with missiles and give them Railguns instead. Idk what else I could change, apart from allocating points so that I can take a Sky Ray.

Its fun to kit bash them, but it is a shame that the Heavy Gun Drone is a legends unit. (only first pic mine)

Idk, I feel that it is pretty helpful for my units, since I have a bunch of infantry. Plus with them being able to either be a twin gun or gun and markerlight as support.

I really wish GW were still selling them, as while fun to kit bash, it would have been nice to pick up a few Heavy Gun Drones for my army when I started out with my Combat Patrol.

I hope they come back someday with more original drones that can then get a unique detachment centered around them and infantry. Which could hopefully work with AUX Cadre.

I've seen a lot of Crisis suit commanders with the weapon on the left arm, it looks cool but what is it and is it still in the game for commanders? (pic from 4th edition codex)

I thought I'd share my personal favorite Frontier monsters. I hope they, either their design, and for the HC & Supremacy versions of mainline monsters their moves, come back some day.

Then for the returning monsters my reasons are:

Exotic Amatsu phase 2: I really love the color pallete chosen for the phase 2 and think it looks beautiful on Amatsu.

HC Blue Yian Kut Ku: I personally really hope that Blue Kut Ku's design changes to this, as I like the idea of subspecies that are the same element, but fight completely differently due to different antatomy, that HC subspecies kinda toy with.

HC Cephadrome: I would love it if the base design were changed to match this. In addition to the HC moveset, and the Frontier moveset, being added to the 4th gen version of Cephadrome to make him a much better more dynamic fight.

HC Basarios: I really like his twig, it just adds character like the moss on 4th gen Basarios.

Supremacy Teostra: His fight is just so difficult and so satisfying. It doesn't feel like BS and much more as he has so much raw power at his disposal. Along with having to play around with the fire form giving him a fire aura you can't cancel out and just have to play around. I love fighting him so much.

The rest I just really enjoy their fights and designs so much.

I feel like I am playing Tau wrong, are there any recommendations on what to get for Tau or how to play it better?

I've played about 6 games as Tau, 3 vs Necrons, 1 vs Space Wolves, 1 vs Grey Knights, and 1 vs Dark Angels. With me losing all of them, with pictures 3-13 show my 500pt game where I had:

1 Cadre Fireblade,

1 unit of 10 Fire Warrior Breachers,

1 unit of 10 Pathfinder,

1 unit of 10 Kroot Carnivore,

1 Broadside,

and 1 unit of Crisis Fireknife Battlesuits (with one of my broadsides pretending to be a crisis suit, as I have 2 normal crisis suits and 3 3d printed ones that I haven't brought to a game.)

The only units to survive were one pathfinder and my broadside.

I know I made mistakes while playing, like charging the Intercessors which were fighting my fire warrior and cadre, with my Carnivores and surviving Crisis suit.

I know I am new and aren't going to be good at the game yet. But I still feel like my army doesn't feel very good. As my broadsides are just too slow to support much and my Hammerhead feels too much like a 1 shot wonder. In that the 3 times it has fired and hit it has done barely any damage twice and the 3rd time deleted a vehicle from existence with a perfect wound roll.

Meanwhile my infantry have just felt really fragile and really weak in both shooting and melee compared to Space Marines.

I want to get better with Tau, as I really enjoy the army when the game feels like it is a close match between 2 people like my Grey Knights game. But I just feel as though I am missing something in the army.

My full army is:

1 Enforcer Crisis Suit Commander

1 Cadre Fireblade

1 unit of 10 Fire Warrior Breachers

1 unit of 10 Pathfinders

1 unit of 10 Kroot Carnivores

2 units of 3 Broadsides

1 Hammerhead

1 Devilfish

I just bought Twin Lance, so I am excited to try them out.

Then I have in reserve;

2 Crisis suits from Ebay, which I have run as XV9's once (with my commander pretending to be the hero that leads XV9's.)

2 Drones I have run before as Heavy Gun Drones once.

3 incomplete crisis suits that I'm thinking of just glueing to their base as is and painting them up to look ruined and abandoned. As they only have 1 arm and no legs.

and 6 Geonosians from my Legion CIS Geonosian army that I am thinking of running as Vespids.

So far the detachments I've run have been Auxiliary Cadre and Experimental Prototype Cadre together or Retaliation Cadre.

I would genuinely like some advice on what to get next as well as how to better play to my faction's strengths.

If underwater combat ever comes back, I really hope these guys return for a cold map, so I can hunt them underwater.

All 5 of them, plus the baby Pokara, would be so cool to see underwater. It would be so cool to have a flying wyvern that you can hunt underwater, or to fight an amphibian underwater.

Ukanklos especially has always been associated with being in water. As the Snowy Mountian Peak fight in 2nd gen has a frozen lake in the center. Or the Polar Field from Portable 3rd and 4th Gen. It would just be so amazing to be able to fight him on a map that has underwater, which you both can transition between as the fight goes on.

Anorupatisu is a really fun fight, and I'd love to see him in his element underwater. I'd love to see what kind of environmental interactions Anorupatisu would have, like maybe using his saw fin to hunt for fish in a particularly dark part of the underwater map.

I have wanted to hunt Zamtrios underwater ever since I first fought him in 4U. I was so excited when I saw him come out from under the Ice that I was sure that meant I'd get an underwater fight. Not realizing that Underwater was gon for good in 4U. As I just presumed surely the Frozen Seaway would have an underwater fight. I'd love to see how his two different forms would work underwater. Especially the big belly form would be interesting underwater.

Pokaradon and the Pokara are monsters I really love hunting. Sure his moveset is 90% Royal Ludroth. But still, I wouldn't mind seeing him come back. (plus like all 1st gen Flying wyverns are almost 1-1 fights with Yian Kut Ku anyways, with maybe 1 new attack. so its not that big a deal to me.)

Idk what it is, but Cephadrome loves

Idk, I've fought him in G, Portable, Dos, Portable 2nd, Frontier, 4U, Generations, and GU. And Everytime he jumps out of the sand and tries attacking me constantly.

I only bring it up, as everytime people mention Cephadrome's hunt, they always make it sound as though he stays in the sand all hunt and runs out your clock. But for me I usually can attack him when in the sand and knock him out or attack hin when he spits sand.

If anything Plesioth in MHG was the one who stayed in the water all hunt, and because it was Old Desert I couldn't do anything to get him out, so I just waited for him to sleep and regain health back.

How would you feel if we got a MH spin off that centered around 1 biome type? (Snow in Sahara Desert, photo by u/Uncomfortable-Uncle)

I personally feel that it would be very insteresting to see a MH game that is beholded to the restrictions of a single biome type. As while focusing only on the desert would be restrictive. There are plenty of different desert types that exist within MH and real life. Also what I'm thinking of, isn't just. Taking all of the old desert maps and putting them into one game. But more so, build a series of desert maps that each convey a different type of desert biome that you can then populate with a wide variety of different desert dwelling monsters. This wouldn't just be exclusive to deserts. I am sure you could do the same with a map focused on marshes, swamps, wetlands, bayous, bogs, and other similarly wet areas. That'd each be able to contian within them a wide variety of different monsters. If stuff like Gravios being found in the 1st and 2nd gen swamps is any indication. I am just using deserts as an example.

With Dunes & Desert (2nd) both showcasing the "generic" hot desert environment. While also having somewhat unique locales within such as an under waterlake and the terrain structures that the desert surrounds.

Sandy Plains and Wild Spire waste both focus on being a savannah environment that transitions into a desert. With the Wild Spire being seasonal.

Gorge is a canyon such as the Grand Canyon. While it does contian a cave system, the Gorge is still a very dry map, for the most part.

White Lake is a salt flat akin to the area surrounding Salt Lake City. Where there's still water, but it has a unique desert environment compared to that of most other deserts.

The Wildspire Waste is also a unique desert environment as a mix of a wetland mud pit and a desert.

The final picture is just to show a cold desert, so that it would be feasible and realistic to have a desert map that is traditionally really hot, have a season where it is covered in snow or maybe even ice.

I feel that it would be an interesting game that could still have plenty of variety. It wouldn't have to be limited to just these types, as the MH devs could always invent a new kind of desert. But I still think that the limitation that would come from such a game would make a lot of really cool monsters. And maybe incentivise revamping other desert monsters like Cephadrome or Monoblos, to be more fun/ unique for more people.

Looking through my play time across all the games, I have seriously played. I honestly thought I put more hours in.

The games are in order of Generation and are; Monster Hunter G, Monster Hunter 3U, Monster Hunter 4U, Monster Hunter Generations, Monster Hunter GU, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, & Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

Idk, considering 3U was my first Monster Hunter game, I am kinda shocked by how little time I have put into it compared to the majority of my other MH games. Though the fact that I have put a combined total of 325 hours into Generations and GU is honestly kinda shocking to me.

The fact I have barely touched 2nd Gen is also not lost on me. I hope that I can play through it all one day. But I am going through
