Service couple LTA on TD
My spouse is currently on TD for an extended period of time away from home. I am looking to travel to visit them using LTA but the OR has said that my spouse has to be the one to initiate the claim as they are in TD. Does this mean that I will be losing my ability to claim LTA this fiscal year to visit them?
2022 Crosstrek - car loses all electrics during auto start / stop, only comes back once the hood is opened
Fairly new problem. When I come to a stop, and the car auto stops, it behaves normally. However when I do something that should trigger the engine to start again (taking my foot off the brake or depressing it further) the car immediately loses all electrics. The lights all go off, it doesn’t respond to the FOB buttons, I can’t even shift into park. The only way to bring the electrics back is opening to hood. They come back, the car screams at me because it’s in drive with the engine off, I shift to park and restart it, good to go.
Smaller additional things that have occurred since this issue started:
-the auto windows don’t work (the windows still roll if I hold the button down, but don’t automatically fully open or close at just a press of the button)
-random intermittent flashing of a warning that says EYESIGHT DISABLED CHECK OWNERS MANUAL (the warning displays for maybe half a second then disappears entirely - normally any warning displayed lasts several seconds, then the dash lights remain afterwards. These both disappear after the half second)
I’ve read that a faulty hood latch sensor can trigger an auto start stop failure / warning, but haven’t seen anything about the electrics fully going.
