The first veil has broken on my chonky boi circled in red in the first photo. I feel like they dont look like what the GT's that I always see posted (not including the funny little hats but just in general). Will they fan out at all or just stay round topped like they are now? Also they look much smaller than I imagined amd from looking at others grows. Are these really GT's? Also why do they only seem to be growing mostly on the edges of the tub? Just paranoid as this is my first grow. Any help is appreciated.

Is this contam in the red circle? I just notice the white fluffy portion looks different than the rest of my tub. Could this be contam? I also have fuzzy feet so not sure if fae could cause this as well.

Hello everyone, first time grower here! I spawned GT spores to agar approximately 4-5 days ago. I since I've seen growth, I've noticed a slightly translucent outer ring to my mycelium is this contam or just developing mycelium? It is worth mentioning that i added way to many spores to my agar by accident. They are very clumped up and kinda spread into just central areas where the clumps fell. I will not make that mistake again. I also feel it is worth mentioning that these are pre-made agar plates from midwest grow kits. Back to the matter at hand. I noticed the ring of fairly translucent growth that extends past my white mycelium. I am unsure if this is contam or just the foundations of the mycelium. I apologize for the picture quality. I tried using a flashlight underneath the agar to show it better as without any additional light it can be rather hard to see. I added pics of the day I first say the mycelium start showing and the pics I took today. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks!!!
