Metal shark players stage is garbage reminder

I really hate this stage so much, i thought tidal whales stage was bad, this stage literally makes tidal whales stage look good in comparison which is a war crime.

This stage lasts a freaking eternity, you will literally die from getting impatient in this stage, there have been countless times i got so bored i ended up running into the compactor and dying trying to speed the level up and since there are hardly any checkpoints, you get heavily punished and sent back like 5 minutes every time you die.

Im on the hardest difficulty and nightmares with endless health bars are flooding the stage everywhere hitting me and getting me instant killed by the compactor.

The compactor run before the armor piece is is also abysmal, literally need to run for your life across a giant stretch of land and hope the compactor and nightmare dont hit you or else you have to do the whole second half of the stage again.

Shockingly the stages in this game dont really bother me at all, but this stage in particular makes even megaman x7 look good. Screw this awful stage 🤮🤮🤮

Who is do you guys think is more fun to play as in x4 x or zero?

I got back into the x series again through the legacy collection, and im revisiting one of my favorite games of all time, and my favorite megaman game, x4

I cant figure out who i enjoy playing as more, but it seems the more i play as zero the funner he is to play as and then I just wondered who does the community generally like more?

Honestly i really dont like little mac, he is a gimmick character, who i really wouldnt mind if they removed and never brought back

Essentially as you probably know, he has extremely overtuned grounded attacks but extremely weak aerial moves

I find this character to be quite obnoxious for that reason. Games with him mostly end up with him off the stage unable to recover or perhaps 30-15 percent or less of the time if you encounter a good mac he is running around the stage at hypersonic speeds spamming down tilt and up tilt into his other annoying moves.

Macs smash attacks are notorious for being overtuned and having super armor. Really fast strong smash attacks that can be spammed over and over. F smash angled up seems to be spammed the most

Up b is a move that can combo out of up tilt and primarily down tilt. Its one of macs kill moves.

Side b i feel is mainly a recovery tool that mac would otherwise die without. Can confirm out of combos but not good.

B is just weird, what even is this move? A panic button to confuse the opponent??? It travels across the stage if you fully charge it and then leaves you a sitting duck for ages. Apparently it can shield break, has super armor.

Counter may as well be another recovery tool honestly, it can also ledge guard some recovery moves like bowser up b. Otherwise and even then still pretty bad

Ko punch is infamous for being able to kill at absurdly low percents can help him recover i think, and can combo out of some tilts although very inconsistent

Macs aerials are abysmal, really small hit boxes that do no damage this is why mac cannot defend himself in the air.

Macs grabs are abysmal possibly the worst in the game.

Forward tilt can combo kill and has super armor. Down tilt is his best move, hence why you see macs running around the stage spamming down tilt, up tilt is his worst tilt although still good. Big hitbox and anti air, combo tool.

Jab is a frame 1 jab, actually tied with zss as fasted jab in the game. Spammy

Also can be annoying in lag

On 8 player games mac is pretty stupid. They act as stage hazards that mindlessly spam smash attacks hoping to get kills or charging b to slam through 5 people. Here he is pure dumb fun.

Again not a huge fan of this character, really dont like how he was designed.

Most annoying characters to fight in smash ultimate day 53 rosalina (community rank)

There are seriously a ton of zoners in row 4 or they at least have zoning potential.

Rosalina is 1 of 2 puppet fighters in smash history (unless olimar counts???) the other being ice climbers. She definitely isnt as good as she was in 4, in fact i think the sole reason why she fell down hierarchy is almost purely due to powercreep lol.

Her luma was also nerfed defensively from 4 and you also cant spam air dodge 1000 times like you could in 4 either.

Unlike ice climbers, you dont really need to baby sit the puppet aka the luma as much as popo needs to baby sit nana. When luma dies it respawns after a short 10 (sources varied between 10-13) seconds. Which strangely enough respawn time is effected by how many players are on screen.

1v1 10-13 seconds

3 players 7 second respawn time

4 or more players 5 second respawn time

In fact i just learned for the first time that in general players take less damage the more players there are i think i read on 4 player launch back is reduced from 1.0x to 0.8x but this a complete rabbit trail of its own.

The luma has roughly 40-50 hp as well so decently tanky, hp i believe also scales in 4 player.

Enough stats, rosalina can use luma as a shield, use luma to combo, confuse and throw off and mislead opponents, control space and ledge guard.

I heard rosalinas moves are good but not busted, they need to be used in tandem with the luma, so mastery over the luma is pivotal it seems.

Here fair has a good hitbox and can sometimes combo into itself, nair i heard is her best move and then uair is good for juggling opponents and dair can spike, bair i think kills and can set up juggles or combos.

Tilts seem over all good, can be quick get off me tools.

Rosalinas grabs are decent or alright. When she is grabbed though her luma can free her from an opponents grab if they pummel her too long

Rosalinas down b can pull items towards her, and absorb enemy projectiles,

B launches her luma away from her knocking back opponents, i think ive seen rosa set up luma with this

Side b star bits are annoying projectiles, good combo starter and good for zoning.

Rosalina is overall good at recovering and her Her up b is an alright recovery move although can be punished.

Dont really have much to say about smash attacks overall seem rather typical.

Ive seen her crouch float to jank opponents, very awkward indeed

It seems like she struggles against rush down characters like roy and cloud though.

Honestly this took forever to write, probably the longest post so far. I cant cover everything and digging for information about every aspect of a character takes forever so if someone wants to comment more information please do so as always, also doesnt help i feel like rosalina mains are somewhat rare either.

I didnt even think about this at the time, this has nothing to do with rosalina but im olimars pikmin hp stats here since i didnt write it down in olimars post.

• Red Pikmin — 11 HP

• Yellow Pikmin — 9 HP

Most annoying characters to fight in smash ultimate day 52 wiifit trainer (community rank)

Wii fit trainer is a flexible hit and run zoner

She has a very slim hit box and her attacks are very bizarre and disjointed.

Her side special is likely her best move, i see wii fits spamming this move a lot online, a soccer ball projectile that can be used on the ledge or off stage to stall, its good for zoning and stage controll, it can be shot in multiple directions, the headbutt part of the attack can spik opponents.

Down special grants her an attack buff and heals her a bit.

Her recovery is a high mobility move with mix up potential

Sun ball is another move wii fits like to spam, it heals her if fully charged i think? Its very much like spamus's neutral b really although not as good im assuming.

Good tilts such as up tilt,

Her smash attacks are high risk high reward moves.

in general her kit can look a bit janky or weird because she is attacking with exercises.

Her aerials seem to be very good, neutral is safe bair and fair can kill, and dair can spike enemies.

Honestly there were some things i learned about this character writing this because i literally never encounter wii fit players.

Most annoying characters to fight in smash ultimate day 51 mega man (community rank)

Megaman is another zoner woo-hoo who is awkward to play as and against.

Metal blades, metal blades everywhere, up down left right on the ground off the ledge seriously, the metal blades are probably megamans best tool allowing him to combo ledge guard pressure control space, he cand drop it and pick it up again. The damage also adds up over time.

Side b is a pressure tool, either you shield it and take shield damge or you allow it to damage you.

Leaf shield is a disruptive, get off me tool that is pretty jank that provides projectile protection. Can also ledge guard jank

Rush coil is a pretty good recovery, very similar to sonics spring other than it does not damage opponents.

Up smash and forward smash are annoying. Forward smash is a charge shot that travels a good distance and can sometimes hit under the ledge. Good for catching mistakes or ledge guarding. Up smash has a giant hit box that can combo, down smash is otherwise pretty typical.

The lemons are spammy projectiles that are zoning tools that control neutral, that stop approaches but are used to primarily annoy the opponent into submission.

Good grab, also megaman has a lightweights hitbox and recovery while being quite heavy and hard to kill.

Aerials are annoying, fair is large, combos into itself sometimes and kills, bair kills, uair is bizarre, its like a tornado that kills at the top of the stage that can juggle, im pretty sure the tornado effects the blast zone in some way to bringing it down a notch, dair spike.

Overall megamans kit is a zoners kit, i dont think that megaman is even built to approch the opponent in anyway. He doesnt really combo and can struggle against opponents that like to get in his face and characters that can reflect or absorb his projectiles.

Oh wonderful another zoner. There are a lot more zoners in smash than i thought.

Vilager is annoying for many reasons his entire kit is built for camping and zoning

Starting with Villagers infamous tree, he can plant a seed that initially acts as a trap, once he waters it, it grows into a tree, that hits opponents real hard if they get caught in it. Then the tree acts as a wall villager can camp behind and cut down at any moment, which also hits really hard if it lands. Finally the tree drops annoying projectiles he can throw.

The sling shot is super annoying easily his best move, its a spammy move that travels a decent distance that can annoy, combo, ledge guard and zone. The Bair variation also kills.

Lloid rocket , is another projectile he can throw out or ride. Riding it isnt really that effective but throwing it is. It has a decently sized his box that explodes when it hits the enemy. Useful for zoning recovering and ledge guarding some what.

Pocket can be the bane of some zoners existence, it grabs an enemy projectile like spamus's charge shot and can be thrown out at any time dealing much more damage and knock back.

balloon trip is a solid recovery, even though some characters can counter it. Its one of the longest lasting and farthest traveling recoveries in the game.

Uair and dair are luck based, vilager has the odds of pulling out 1-3 turpnips when attacking, 3 dealing the most damage.

Down smash can bury opponents leading to kill confirms at high percents.

Side smash or the bowling ball can be obnoxious for some characters. Villager can essentially drop a forward smash off the ledge which can kill opponents early.

Frame 3 jab

Tilts are decent.

the axe can be used for shield break set ups. Its also a frame 6 kill move that hits hard, although it does have end lag.

Wolf always puts me on edge whenever i encounter him online for some reason.

He has a blaster that shuts down approaches, ridiculous kill power, fast safe aerials especially bair, strong punish game and good ledge trapping.

His down b is a reflector that can give certain projectile based characters a hard time, solid throws, side b and up b are weird and perhaps not that good but there is some jank with those moves. Solid tilts like down tilt.

Probably seen as the most honest of all the links. Toon link is annoying for similar reasons to his clones. Projectile spam that combos, up b spam, bomb jank, small hurt box, zoner. Annoying aerials ig.

I dont really have much to say about him that i havent already said about the other links. His side smash and up smash are one hit moves rather than two or three though.

Rob is a meta character who is great for many reasons.

He is very heavy and also has a fantastic recovery that lets him fly/stall for a long time, which he can attack out of.

The gyro may be robs most infamous move in his tool kit. With it he can control parts of the stage, force jumps or shields, set up traps he can combo from, its very spammy

Side b spin can reflect moves and be used as a get off me tool

Strong edge guarding

Weird hurt box and safe aerials

Neutral b laser can hit for good damage and pressure on or off stage

Simple hits that can lead to great combos

Down grab can bury and set up kills

Overall a kit that promotes passive play aka a zoning

Lucario is annoying almost entirely due to his rage mechanic. Thankfully not as bad as in 4 where lucario benefitted from 2 rage mechanics.

Lucario essentially starts out slow but gets progressively more powerful as the game goes on. His attacks start out pitifully weak and then get overtuned out the wazoo.

Key word is rage, Lucario can zone well with his aura ball which gets bigger as he takes more hits side b gets huge when he has damage and acts as a deadly command grab at close range it is a great kill option that can kill at 55-92 percent. His counter benefits from rage, Lucarios recovery is also ridiculously good at highpercents.

Characters who struggle to kill will overall have a more difficult time fighting lucario than those who dont.

Olimar is another defensive zoner who camps and throws his pikmin at the enemy.

Each pikmin has a specific property tied to them,

Red pikmin are strong all around and immune to fire. Good early game

Blue have stronger throws, that can kill pretty well, also immune to water attacks. Has more defense than other pikmin.

Yellow have bigger hit boxes and longer range and different throwing arc. They are immune to electric. Good for spacing, combo extensions ledge guarding. Also more hit stun.

White has the longest grab range, is the fastest and does the most side b damage, also goes the farthest when side b throwing. White is fragile and is weak in everything other than throws. Weak airs weak smash attacks ect. Shield pressure. Strangely white pikmin have no poison resistance, piranha plant side b for example counters whites.

Purple by far the strongest pikmin. Has Significant knock back, crazy damage output, has good shield damage, but are slow, have low range on attacks and make olimars recovery worse. Purple side b does not latch on to enemy but knocks the opponent back like a projectile. Purples Are very good hard punish tools. Also has high defense, hard to kill.

Pikmin priority is generally

1.purple

2.yellow

3.white

4.red

5.blue

Side b spam with olimar, especially when he has a team of all purples is very annoying. Grab range and kill, combo potential is crazy. Pikmin can act like shields that block attacks and projectiles. Good recovery, pressure and stage control. Olimar again is a fantastic zoner.

Im back, writing these is honestly a bit of a pain researching properties of characters so i took a break. We are basically half way or a little over halfway done ranking all of the characters.
