How much would you offer? 2017 330i

Hey folks,

I'm considering buying an F31 but it feels like prices are very scattered, especially since condition varies at lot and not many were made.

How much would you offer on something like this?

2017 330i

112k miles

Non-M sport but has m sport bumpers and side skirts.

H&R Lowering springs

Big maintenance like OFH and coolant lines have been done.

Black interior, Alpine white exterior

Laptop for light photo editing/gaming/ECU tuning

Hey folks as the title suggests. I'm hoping for a laptop recommendation for working. Doesn't need crazy specs but needs to hold up to light gaming, ecu tuning (not particularly demanding) and some photo editing.

  • Country

USA

  • Budget

Under $1000 USD. Preferably under $750

  • Are you open to refurbs/used options?

Yes

  • Screen size

13-14"

  • Weight limit

No particular weight limit, but preferably light enough to not weigh me down in a Cotopaxi travel backpack (28L)

  • Purpose

General purpose/work

  • Form factor

Standard - preferably no touch screen unless it's not adding cost.

  • Intended usage

-ECU tuning: Doesn't require very strong hardware, but great battery life is preferable for data logging while in the car.

-Light gaming: FFXIV, RS3, platformers such as Silksong, Ori, some emulation. 1080p is fine at 60fps at medium-high settings. 1440p screens I'm okay with 50-60fps at medium. Don't game much while traveling, but some ability to keep up with friends on these would be nice. My old Dell G7 still plays these, but is unreasonably large and waaaaayy too heavy.

-Photo editing:

  • Desired battery life

Mostly plugged in. Over 5 or 6 hours while data logging preferable, which doesn't really use noticeably more power than browsing.

  • Please list, in order of most important to least important, the priority between Size, Weight, Performance, Battery life

1 - weight, 2 - size, 3 - performance, 4 - battery life

  • Info/Requirements

Screen should have better than average color accuracy for the occasional photo editing. Doesn't need to be extreme since I'm a hobbyist. 1440p would help, but not necessary.

Well optioned LCI 328i or any other 330i?

Thoughts on this? Have been looking at buying an F31. Was originally trying hard to get a diesel, but current prices feel like they make it's efficiency savings a wash.

This seems well optioned, but high miles. Have seen several 330i models I would consider with about 90-110k miles floating around 16k, but it feels like the market is everywhere. Rebuilt titles for anywhere from 10-17k regardless of model or status, people asking mid 20s for non-Msport models. So confused what a fair price should even be.

2nd gen auto or 3rd gen manual?

Hey folks, I'm looking at a Fit for a new daily when I move next year and I'm conflicted about the following considering I'll mostly use it for highway commuting including longer trips.

The manual in the 2nd gen is supposedly slightly faster but from what I've read seems like a subpar manual and most importantly is geared way too short. An auto 2nd gen sport seems like a great buy and I've heard it's slow but very reliable and 5th in particular isn't so short which makes it better for longer cruising

I like the interior on 3rd gens better, they're supposedly noticeably quieter especially after 2018, but the cvt has mixed reviews and 6th gear on the manual is just as short as the previous 5th.

Suggestions? I'm torn because the 5th gen sport with paddle shifters seems like the must budget conscious commuter but might get annoying. The 3rd might be more comfortable for long drives, but people are asking nearly their MSRP when they were new for them. Seems excessively expensive compared to other more comfortable options like a GTI or even different wagons that are only slightly less efficient but way more comfortable.

(Ignore the fact that the 2nd gen manual is slightly faster, I already have a turbo Datsun for the fun car)
