Nina announced that Already Gone is ending so she can focus more on her work with the murdered and missing project in Michigan. AG was one of the first podcast that I listened to and I have listened to it for years. Nina's soothing voice and diligent research have been a sharp contrast to the sensationalism that newer podcasts seem to have. I highly recommend a listen to the back catalog. Background: a friend gave me an inexpensive road bike with the Microshift Sword 2x groupset on it since she's unable to ride bikes anymore. I decided to turn it into a gravel bike since I already have a road bike.

The Sword has a clutch. Why? What is the benefit, if any? I took it for a ride on Tuesday and it would occasionally drop a gear while I was pedaling. Does the clutch have something to do with that? I know mountain bikes sometimes have clutches but none of mine ever have. Help!

I haven't used a trunk rack in a long minute. My old Yakima rack had thick felt pads on the arms that the bike rested on but they did wear off over time. The new Thule rack that I have doesn't have any frame protection and isn't something that I can just slap some felt on. I thought about pool noodles but they aren't sturdy. Ideas?

I've read too many articles and watched too many videos while trying to fix my bike. It's left me incredibly confused. Is there one source above all others that I can use to help me?

This is weird. Several months ago, I signed up for a trial Fascat training plan. I only did it for a week before deciding it wasn't for me. Ever since, when a ride uploads to Strava from my Garmin headset, a Fascat training plan workout is in the ride description! I don't have a Fascat account, I don't have one linked to my Strava and I can't figure out how to stop it. Help.
