I've been going back and forth on this 1st gen Python for sale. I got to see it in person (no, didn't take any pictures as I'm an idiot) and it needs a little TLC to get it back to what I'd want it to be.

The owner put a cheap gold lacquer inlay on the barrel markings and on the colt just behind & below the cylinder release. He also swapped the front sight with a gaudy orange post.

Besides that and some minor cosmetic wear, it seems to be in good shape but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger (ha) as I used to have a new generation Python that had so many issues in DA.

During a squadron function, a junior Airman in the shop who has a plethora of performance and discipline issues, unjustly put their hands on my troop. This is the highest escalation this Airman has taken and I'm at a loss for what to do

Paperwork at the minimum was my intention and possibly some involvement with the Shirt but both were shot down before the duty day was over. I had a sit-down with my supervision to express my concerns, frustration and my desire to formally address it - leadership doesn't agree. They believe it's in the best interest of everyone involved to not document and not elevate it higher, citing things like hearsay (despite multiple witnesses, including an outside SNCO) and the problems that could arise if it were taken to an outside party I.e., Security Forces, IG/EO.

To make matters worse, the Airman is underage and was allegedly drunk before the altercation even began and drove home after being told to leave for the day.

This is nothing new and their behavior remains largely unchanged. I feel hopeless to help my troop and the other Airmen in the shop that do their job day in, day out without constantly causing problems.

Just sent in a service request for my Kinetic II Gypsy and noticed that all pages related to the piece are gone with a 404 error…

Was there a falling out between the two that I’m not aware of or is it something a lot less dramatic.
