Glad to have finally found Ryo Fukui’s “Scenery.”
So my stylus brush was getting a tad dirty and I decided to rinse it with tap water. After doing so my brain kicked in, and I then thought maybe soaking it in tap water wasn’t a good idea because of the minerals, chlorine, etc. I haven’t used it since I washed it. What should I do now? Should I get a new brush or is there a way I can salvage this one? Or is it no big deal at all?
So I’m fairly new to both vinyls and jazz (double whammy!) and today I realized I need more guidance. I was at a really popular music store here in Canada and they had two different versions of Yusef Lateef’s “Jazz Mood.” The one from Survival Research was $34.99 and the one from Original Jazz Classics was $54.99. I was tempted to get the cheaper one but decided I’d better wait to make my decision. So my question is how much of a difference in sound quality is there between labels in general? And are there certain labels that I should usually trust and others that I need to avoid? Thanks in advance for any help!
