Best Budget Robot

My wife and I just redid the kitchen and it shows dirt and hair more than the old, and I want to buy a budget vacuum. (Under 200 on sale if possible). Mopping is a plus, but not required. We have a pretty small house, so battery size isn’t a concern. As stated in a previous post she bought some rugs on Amazon that cause our Dyson to lock up due to lack of airflow, so I would like something that either won’t, or can be adjusted on the rugs. I would prefer something that ties into Home Assistant for automating. Thank you in advance

Robo Vac for cheap rugs

My wife bought a couple of rugs that have a very short nap and our Dyson just locks up when you try to vacuum them. Are there any robo vacs that can easily go between real rugs, hardwood, and cheap Amazon crap rugs without an issue? Preferably one that mops also

FIL left his JR running overnight

My elderly father in law left his Renegade running overnight and ran it out of gas, or the battery died from not charging. He is getting an error about passive entry system (my apologies if incorrect verbiage) and isn’t sure why it won’t start. Any ideas I can pass long to him? He claims he tried the fob up to the start button without success.
Thank you for your time!

Aqara FP2 to HA

I know it is supposed to be a pain, but I am having troubles getting the FP2 into HA. It is in the Aqara app and configured. Now I would like to move it into HA, but can not make that happen. I did delete it from HomeKit. The G350 is in HA and working. Not sure what I am missing here. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I Screwed Up My FP2

I bought an Aqara FP2, and I had it in the app and configured properly this morning, then I tried to get it to Home Assistant, but I made the mistake of deleting it from the Aqara app instead of HomeKit and now for the life of me, I cannot get it to go back into the Aqara app. Any suggestions? TIA

Matter Help With New Devices

I bought an Aqara G350 and an FP2 presence sensor on Prime Day. I am running HA with Zigbee. I have never been able to add any Matter devices regardless of how many times I’ve tried. Of course the FP2 is Matter and I can’t get it into the system to configure in the app. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

HA Display Recommendations

I am looking to add a cost friendly display to my office so I can quick glance at different peripherals. Is there anything that works better than others? Not looking to buy another iPad at this time.

Getting my Port Removed!!!

Thanks to Trikafta, after 10 years I am getting my med port pulled in two weeks. Everyone is excited for me, but I feel that this group will truly understand what it means. I will be 49 next month and it’s crazy to be getting better at this age.

I hope this doesn’t come off as insensitive to others in the community.
Keep fighting

Multi “Gas” Detection

I’m looking for a zigbee natural gas/CO/CO2 detector or detectors if stand alone units are better. Looking for something for my basement office I can tie into HA.

Thanks in advance

Dumb Automation Question

Does this mean that the sensor needs to detect vibrations for 25 minutes before it turns on the output? I have a vibration sensor in the chair i sit in when I do meds to turn lights on, but the routine keeps starting over due to the length of time I do meds.

Thanks in advance

I am new to the HA platform and “lifestyle” and have been really enjoying my time so far. I have the HA green, at what point does someone need to upgrade from HA Green to something more? I know I am many years away from that, just wondering what will start causing performance issues.

Thanks again in advance for your help
