4 Night Solo Expedition - Phipps vs Bonnechere vs Big Porcupine

Experienced camper here currently planning a 4 night solo expedition starting at Smoke Lake for the end of June. I need at least 1 full day of rest baked into my trips which means 2 of my 4 nights will be on the same lake. Big Porcupine, Bonnechere, and Phipps all look great campsite wise, and I plan on hitting Bonnechere first, Phipps second, Big Porcupine third, and then heading out.

For those who have camped in this general area before, what lake would you choose to spend two nights on?

In terms of trip priorities, I feel like extra time on any of these lakes would make for a great trip. So in other words I’m flexible.

One of the weirdest things I’ve seen in the park

A whole ass car just chilling in a campsite

Mazda Canada on 15% Ethanol content in fuel. Maybe buy a car from another brand for now.

For my Canadian Mazda drivers who live in provinces where ethanol content in fuel is increasing to 15%, Mazda says no.

Until Mazda engineers in Japan can give a firm answer on the implications of using E15 fuel in these engines, I’d purchase from a manufacturer that has certified E15 fuel to avoid a potential headache down the line.
