iPhone IMEI blacklisted

I bought a Grade A iPhone 17 Pro Max from CEX in November 2025.
I’ve been travelling abroad since January and have been using a Vietnamese SIM and various eSIMs without any issues. I returned to the UK today, but when I inserted my UK SIM, it wouldn’t work. I also tried two different eSIMs, and neither worked.
I ran a CheckMEND report, which says: “Currently Blocked: The device has been reported lost or stolen to a phone network and will not function on some networks.”
I have no idea when the phone was blocked because it has worked perfectly throughout Asia. Today was the first time I discovered there was an issue. I also contacted my UK network provider, and they confirmed they were not the ones who placed the block.
If I take the phone back to CEX with my receipt, is this something they would refund or replace under their warranty? The phone was Grade A when I bought it, but I have since dropped it and it now has some scuffs around the sides. Would the cosmetic damage affect my claim?

Can I pay into an ISA while travelling long-term?

Left the UK in January and currently travelling in south east asia - originally it was only going to be 6 months but I’ve decided to travel long term (several years).

I plan to do a working holiday visa in Australia this tax year so I know i’ll be tax resident there for 2025/2026, but for 2026/2027 i’ll be in multiple countries and not really settled anywhere.

If during a full tax year I am not in one country for more than 30 days - where am I tax resident? Would it default to the UK as I don’t have tax residency anywhere else, and if so, can I pay into my ISA during this time?

How to enjoy Bali with an Injury?

Hey Guys.

Been travelling SEA for the last 5 months - arrived in Bali a week ago and had a scooter accident on the third day.

I have a severe sprain in my right ankle and also neck and back pain. I’m going to see a specialist on Tuesday and then maybe a physio later.

I have until the 4th July before I return home and can’t do anything I originally planned like surfing / hiking / diving etc etc.

Need ideas on how to spend my time in Bali with limited mobility (struggling to walk).

I’m thinking head to Ubud and get a nice hotel, maybe get my nails done or some spa treatments. Other than this I really don’t have any clue what to do. I’d ideally like to see some sights / viewpoints that are easily accessible via Grab bikes without much walking.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know, I don’t want to waste a month sat in bed not doing anything!
