things im planning to join this year:

\- DECA (business club, just want to see what the finance world looks like)
\- Part-Time Job (ive already applied to a few places with no luck, hoping i secure a job by the end of the calendar year)

steam summer sale best deals

with summer here, that means two things. i have a lot of free time, and steam’s summer sale is here. i honestly have never played a long story driven game, im mostly playing fps games. however, ive been scrolling through steam and i found a few games on sale for crazy low prices. please let me know if any of them are worth it! (i would enjoy slightly faster games, but also something that is 100% worth the money and will get me into this genre)

the witcher 3 - $4
rdr2 - $15
cyberpunk 2077 - $18
ghost of tsushima - $36
resident evil 4 - $10

and please let me know if there are any other good options! thank you, and have a good one!

▲ 4 r/ACT

how early should i start preparing? (Pre-ACT score attached)

hey everyone! i am going to be a sophomore in high school next year and i was considering to enroll in my school’s act next year. i will be enrolled in ap precalc next year.

typically, in april, my school has their 9th/10th graders take the pre-act on one day and the 11th grader take the act the day after. however, some of my sophomore friends from last year told me they took the act, so thats an option for me.

i wanted to try to take it before my junior just so i could get a gage at how difficult it was for me, and if i should try the sat instead. my pre-act score attached is out 30/32, so i think i did pretty well. my question is if its a good idea to take it next april, and if so, when should i start studying? and what are some good study resources?

should i buy lego batman legacy of the dark knight?

ive been eyeing the game for months now but i feel like i still need that extra nudge to get me over that $70 price tag. i grew up playing a lot of lego games on my old xbox, and i also loved batman as a superhero. i have played a few lego batman games in the past, lego batman 3 and dc super villains (which doesnt really count). i just wanted to find a game that i can chill and enjoy for maybe an hour or two a day, something that can last me my summer break. thanks again!

upgrading from iphone 12

hey all, i got this iphone 12 nearly 3 years ago and i think its time for an upgrade. its primarily because of 3 main factors: storage, battery, and camera.

first, the storage. this one is the worst one. i currently am running on 64gb and it is HELL. i think ive been at 60-63 gb for months now and i feel like im deleting stuff every week

then, the battery and camera. the overall battery is at 78%, which is a little weak. the battery isnt horrible, but i ideally want something that can last me a whole day or something close to a whole day. my camera is also pretty outdated, and thats something i want to see upgraded from my new phone. there are also things like better screen and new modern features that i dont care for too much, but id like to have those. i also dont have any preference for size.

my price is around mid range, i dont really have an exact number. not something too expensive but i just want to see the best value possible from a single phone at a set price point. thank you all again!
