The point? Idk

Heyyyyyy so, I think I have a complaint but not necessarily about the show, it’s about the fans. I was a liker of Stassi as a reality tv personality, so when I saw this I thought oh cool a continuation of spoiled queen content. (If anyone watched queen bee back in the the day I expected that behavior too) Anyway! Idk why people are so disappointed? If you watched VPR we know who she is, and the previews didn’t promise better behavior from what I recall. We also see who her mom is (smh) so her behavior isn’t surprising. This is entertainment, and I love watching the show because I’m DEF entertained (I’m on episode 5 I think).

Stassi will never be in my life, these behaviors do not affect me. Every person on the show signed up for this so I’m sure they will be fine.

I watch tv to be distracted and enjoy brain rot time- I thought that’s why we’re here… looking at peoples reviews - if you can’t stand her why are you watching it? And finishing it? And then being mad 😂please. I want to watch this and have fun shit talk, not “she’s a horrible human being, get a divorce” talk like geesh Don’t put yourself through things you don’t like. Hate watching still pays.

I also don’t really plan on replying or going back and forth, this is just my opinion i wanted to vent and I can’t really be swayed on this.

Did they ever talk about Howard university?

Or did I miss it somewhere? I was looking forward to them covering the topic of 500 students losing admission. Idk why I just thought it was wild but now the news has passed. I’m also behind a few eps

I think ITC is growing legs and growing on me

This was the first episode where I actually put my phone down and just watched. That being said though I’m starting to think that Gavin is who everyone thinks Kenny is. He annoys me.

I don’t get people calling Whitney boring she just seems like a good girlfriend to me so far. She’s giving Raquel (before the scandal) with better social skills.

Amanda’s mess was ridiculous and I say this as someone with ALOT of clothes but they are AWAY.

I like Andrea, sometimes the friend who is consistent and doesn’t have any drama going on is necessary. He’s the Pauly D lol

Happy Kyle immediately hired someone I’m SURE that’s not his first time bringing up this option knowing what we do about Amanda

As a daddy’s girl myself…

Amanda and her dad’s dynamic remind me of me and my dad’s, i can be honest, I don’t have to hold back and I can be blunt. That being said, watching this interaction and knowing micro expressions, it was obvious to me that There was stuff he wanted to say, but held back. Overall, it feels like when you want to be there for your best friend, but you know that they are doing a little too much… But to say anything would seem like it’s not supportive so you don’t. And maybe that’s where her parents went wrong : coddling her. Maybe it’s because there’s cameras, I’m not ignorant to that fact, but the moments that stood out was when she said, she spearheaded it and around her “clutter” (which is a whole hoarding issue) he seems like he wanted to say something about working it out or her taking accountability but didn’t? Idk just a guess.

Friend of all, friend to none?

I could be alone in this, but Lindsay deeply confused me because I take friendships seriously. How can Lindsay meet with Amanda in the aftermath and say, “I am basically like her older sister because everybody needs that at some point” and at the same time go on repeatedly about how much she supports and is behind Ciara… That made no sense to me. I personally tend to KNOW who my friends are and if I have any doubts, I do not label them as a friend or stop associating with them. I do not like when people are on the fence, so Lindsay’s behavior really confuses me as to where her loyalties lie. I wonder what Ciara thinks. Was this a stunt on Lindsay’s end to get more information like a journalist?? I understand doing something for a check but the aftermath left me confused.

It would be different if Lyndsay and Amanda had been friends this whole time, but we know their history, so I feel like she really didn’t have to do this 😂

Tone policing..

You dammmmnnnnn skippy I’m tone policing. I’m tone policing TF out of Amanda. Lmfao no one called me out on it yet but I know it’s coming.

Listen, Amanda has a right to show up like anybody else. That being said, my most repetitive thought during this whole reunion was how dare she come on the stage and speak with this level of distain and disgust towards her ex-husband, her friend group, and her ex best friend who SHE harmed.

You’re supposed to come with your tail tucked between your legs, willing to ask for forgiveness, and if not that, just listening to what everybody has to say. You did a bad thing, you did something very, very off limits in girl code and morally wrong overall. You should’ve taken notes from Raquel Amanda because this is not it. I don’t know what Director or producer got in her ear and told her that people would be on her side, or that she was going to get a good edit. I was never on the fence about how I felt about this whole situation. It’s obvious that Amanda was wrong, but there is such thing as redeeming yourself which she had a chance to do but the way she is coming is absolutely despicable and I hate that for everyone on that stage.

Amanda can’t tolerate discomfort

When she was talking about coming home from therapy and feeling like she’s in a very low place, I’m not going to say that’s the point of therapy, but it is supposed to be uncomfortable. A lot of people think you go to therapy and then you leave on rainbows and butterflies but the whole point is to look within and see what the problem is and try to address it and that’s gonna feel shitty.however, I feel like we’ve seen Amanda in this position before whenever there’s any kind of discomfort she either passes it over to her friends and makes it other peoples problems, discreetly, or tries to ignore it and play denial like when Kyle tried to talk to her on the last episode of Summer House and she kept walking away. (there are more examples) but Honestly, it’s the Therapist job to go over what happens when you leave a hard therapy session, but someone needs to be honest with her and tell her accountability is necessary, and there’s going to be moments where things feel uncomfortable and that’s just what it is. Stop hiding all the time.
