how my mother feels becoming mentally and financially stable when all her kids were past the age of needing a stable parent

she definitely did her best to raise us but those little things like sitting at the dinner table for hours with ARFID because I was being forced to eat food I hated or being brushed off for any problems I had because they were insignificant to her have stuck with me

it’s now stuck closed. I live in a block of flats/apartments. I need a key to get into the building. My keys are by the front door outside of my bedroom. I can’t go out the window.
