Hello Russians and other painters. You may notice that Russia has not expanded recently, in fact we have allowed for the independence of Belarus. This is because of our new policy towards the west.

Before, we were essentially Putin larpers. It was kind of funny but now it is getting old. Some of us still act like it, but new events have resulted in many of us having a change of heart.

Due to escalation between Europe and Turkey, as well as certain developments in the European state, Russia now guarantees the independence of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Belarus, Ukraine, and Crimea. The same will occur with Georgia and Armenia once an agreement with Turan is reached.

Any organized aggression against these countries will now come with war against Russia.

This is necessary to ensure that other great powers do not invade these states, as their capabilities to defend themselves may not be able to match the numbers of the great powers surrounding them. We cannot allow for communism or other authoritarianism to spread further, so intervention to protect these states is the only option.

You may then ask, what is the ideology of this Russia? Quite frankly, we have not made one, but it certainly isn't communism, ultranationalism, or whatever else is happening on our borders. Our objective is to ensure that democracy, in some form, survives on the map. If you oppose this, why did you read this far? You just lost all of your social credits.

I must say, it is quite ironic that we have become the main representative of freedom and capitalism in Europe.

Hello Europe. I saw many of you added hearts to the Lenin drawing on the Pacific map in Russia. Unfortunately, someone went and griefed the drawing, and while the original creator has fixed it, the hearts are no longer there. If you wish to add your heart back, you can do so.

Recently, a glitch has been occurring where, when you paint, the pixels simply disappear without impacting the map. This is likely due to the new event causing issues. Sometimes it does work and your paint goes through to the map, but this is not guaranteed. So, for at least a day, do not spend pixels unless you are nearing your max pixel capacity, in which case use them sparingly. Thank you.

Update: The glitch has now been resolved, you can paint normally now.

Belarus was our territory, but they have been trying to break away for a while, and recently they have been more successful. Quite frankly, I don't feel like doing another pixel war, so I think it might be time to allow them to become independent and reestablish relations with them. Judging by what just happened to Europe, it might even be a good idea to guarantee their independence, so the war doesn't spread to Belarus and to improve our relations with them. What do you all think?

We could also ask for them to use the real-life Belarus flag, if we need them to. We would appreciate input from the Belarussian painters on this matter.

So, everyone, let us watch as Europe and Turkey fight each other for the (insert large numberth here) time. Some say that it will actually end this time! They're the same people as before, now with extra communists in Europe, but surely this peace negotiation will work, right?

Seriously, can we not make all of Europe transparent? Having disputes over land is one thing, having disputes over what is land is another.

Hello India, its Russia again. I wanted to give you all some more information about the Russia Turan war, and how you should organize your support in the future.

First of all, we would like to thank you all for your immense support. We have now managed to push Turan from the gates of Moscow all the way into the Caucasus, making us the first ever nation to survive such a large attack from Turan. However, our work is not done. To ensure that peace can be reestablished, we must reach the pre-war border. The pre-war border is as follows:

- Russia gets all of its internationally recognized land, plus Georgia(southwestern Georgia is Turkish-held, unrelated to the conflict) and Armenia

- Turan gets Azerbaijan, Central Asia, and Iran

In addition, some Turan painters have tried to separate Belarus from Russia to make us weaker. We cannot allow these painters to be successful, so once we reach the pre-war border in the Caucasus, we must reintegrate Belarus. Whilst there are legitimate Belarussian painters, at the moment their state is functionally a Turan puppet, so we must reintegrate it first before we can talk about the future of Belarus.

Of course, it would be wrong for us to not return the favor. So, here are some new things that are going to be happening with Russia-India relations:

- Russia now recognizes the independence of Balochistan

- Russia now designates Pakistan as a terrorist state, and will now allow for Russian painters to support India in securing control over the region when our homeland is not under threat

- Russia will now be allowing Indian art to be made in Russia on the Pacific map, and potentially in the Kabul map in the future

The Russo-Indian friendship is perhaps one of the deepest friendships on the Wplace minimaps, and today it has only grown deeper. Thank you again for your support.

Our allies, like this Indian painter, are part of the reason our counteroffensive has been so successful.

It has been a few hours since the war began, and we have already made great progress in counterattacking. Before, they had occupied all the way up to Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, and Kazan, but now we are pushing them back very quickly, reclaiming the three aforementioned cities as well as others like Samara and Belgorod. At this pace, it will be a matter of days before our land is reclaimed. Our allies our now deploying, and Turan's momentum has been stopped. We need to keep up the pressure.

Remember not to attack into Turan's land, as there are some Turan painters who disapprove of this attack that we do not want to drag into this. Instead, focus on rebuilding the pre-war border in Kazakhstan.

If you are a Turan painter, consider halting your attack. We do not harbor hatred towards Turan, but the fact that you have stalled in Russia is giving some folks in the East ideas. If you withdraw to the border that we agreed upon before the war, we will end all hostilities, and could potentially even become friends in the future. China has been getting mercilessly bullied for several weeks at this point on the Pacific map. However, Turan has just made a fatal mistake. They have chosen to attack Russia. As the leader of Russia, we have every advantage- we are on our home soil, with more will to defend, and we have the support of our allies. This presents a new opportunity for China, they can now fight back against Turan.

So, I urge you all, focus your pixels on the Turanist occupiers. What is to be done with the separatists can be discussed later, but we must secure a foothold on the map first. This is our chance to secure that foothold.

I apologize for not being here, I was sick. Today, we have been attacked by Turanist forces on the Pacific map. They have occupied a huge part of our land, we must fight back. Deploy all of your pixels here, this is going to be our climactic battle with Turan. Push all the way up to the old border, that being our internationally recognized one with Georgia and Armenia added. Indian, Indonesian, and Turkish forces are already deploying to assist us. We will defeat them the same way we defeated the globalists when we reunited our land. There is not a need to panic, for if we commit to the war effort, we can reclaim our land within a few days.

To Turan painters: Understand that we will not tolerate attacks on our land. If you cease attacks, we will accept the old border, but if frequent Turan painters continue attacking we will have to take more decisive action. We do not harbor hatred towards Turan, but we do harbor such hatred towards members of Turan who choose to attack us.

Hello India, it is your ally, Russia. Today, Turan has started a full-scale war against us, attempting to occupy our lands. Hello Turkey. It is your ally, Russia. Today, Turan attacked us with full force, and some painters even went as far as to take the Turkish Caucasus too. We need assistance in order to fight this invasion, as if we fall, the rest of Eurasia will find itself in Turan's control. Hello, Russians, and friends of Russians! You may notice we have a population problem. It turns out that there are very few Russian painters, with the Russian subreddit mostly being Turks and Indians.

We have also noticed that several players from our allies have supported our efforts greatly. As such, we will now be allowing members of other nations to apply to also become a member of Russia in game

All you have to do is be from a country on the approved list, and not be against Russia, and you will be let in! Send a message either on this post, in my dms, or make a post to ask for membership. Once you are a member, you can vote on topics where only Russians can vote, be permitted larger lands for artworks, and even become a moderator when you have earned trust.

Of course, this comes with responsibility. We will ask that you help to some extent in our wars, but we will attempt to limit this burden on you as much as we can. For now, this is only available to Indians, Balochistanis, and Indonesians, as we are testing this, but we may extend it to all other nations in the future.

Many of our friends come from Asia.

Apparently there are rogue painters trying to make us fight Turan. We cannot allow them to succeed, so we ask that you all focus on securing these regions for now. The area shown in the border in the screenshot is what the border should be in the Caucasus, with Russia gaining the land up to the black line in Armenia and Georgia.

Hello Turks, we have not talked in a while. I have a tip for you all to make your ability to pressure Europe far more effective.

Currently, you are just painting Europe red. This is great, but if you all get bored and leave, as many wplace painters do, this will result in the Europeans just coming back, without serious repercussion. This is not acceptable. Instead, we must paint Europe to make individual states independent. These independent states will attract nationalists from their lands. There are many people who are not fond of EU occupation. These nationalists will continue to fight Europe even if you do nothing. Furthermore, it will demoralize EU painters, seeing their empire collapse. Turkey will not have to fight in the west again.

Adding to this, we can consider a situation where Europe can reach an agreement. These states then give leverage to ensure that Turkey’s core objectives are reached.

I wish you the best of luck in your struggle. May peace once again come to Turkey.

I was skeptical of them in the past. However, they have proven to be able to stick to their word, and have slowly earned our trust. As such, we are going to be making a pact with them. Turkey will remain our ally, but we will work with Europe too. Our objective is for them to find some sort of agreement.

We can mediate this

You’re probably expecting me to say something like “if you do this again we will nuke everyone”. But, that is not what I am here to do today. Instead, I am here to make things right. I would like to create a pact with Europe.

Let me elaborate. At the moment, you all are completely screwed. Turkey has every advantage, more people, will to fight, etc. However, their objective is not to delete Europe. They were, understandably, annoyed by rogue painters, but they chose to let their anger out on you all. With some talking, persuasion from Russia, and small concessions, Turkey will be satisfied, and the EU will be allowed to exist again.

Now, why did I choose to talk with you all? You are clearly losing, theres barely any blue in Europe. Well, here is a better question: Why was I not talking to you? It was because I did not trust you all. Several of you had balkanized Russia in the past, which made us very skeptical of you. A few of you continue this in Kabul, which made us more concerned. However, after the warm welcome we received from other users in other discussions, and some discussions in DMs, we now trust Europe, at least most of you. So, with there no longer being a reason for you to be an enemy, we can now be more open to you.

So, the pact itself. I am writing too much so I will keep this short:

- Russia and the EU will accept their pre EU-Turkey war borders, with Russia holding its internationally recognized land, plus Belarus, as well as Georgia and Armenia until Turan can be figured out, while the EU holds France, Iberia, the Benelux, Visegrad, Germany, the Alpine states, Baltics, Denmark, Italy, and the Balkans, up to whatever agreement they make with Turkey

- Russia and the EU will determine their own relations with other nations, including Turkey

- Russia and the EU will not expand further, any land that needs to be taken from an enemy will be liberated, not annexed.

- Russian and EU painters will help each other in all defensive wars

- Russian and EU painters will condemn claims from other nations on their lands, outlined in the first point

- Russian and EU painters will not use transparent pixels on top of or scribble over any nation(that isnt a made up landmass)

- This treaty goes into effect once most active EU painters agree to it and the current EU Turkey war ends

I won’t go for a land exchange because it is clear to me now that it is useless. As for our relation with Turkey, we will stay on good terms with them, and you will find very soon that this is in your interest.
