Platinum charge- Is anyone able to avail $100 hotel credit benefit?

I have platinum charge card.
I don’t understand how do I make a hotel booking and avail the $100 hotel credit.
There is no way to book via amex. When I called concierge services, they told me the travel desk is under maintenance and there is no way to avail this benefit.
How is it fair that we pay full premium of almost 80k a year and can’t avail a major benefit .
If anyone has an idea, let me know.

The Oberoi Delhi - Premium plus

Stayed at The Oberoi Delhi. Booked the premium room that allows the stay at high floor and access to resident’s lounge.
Staff is very humble and professional. What surprised me was that they did not accept any tip! Neither at lounge nor at restaurants.
Food is amazing ! Experience at lounge was good. Roof top restaurant has a great vibe. Breakfast buffet has many options and the quality of food and presentation really stands out.
Rooms are very spacious and clean and smell so good. And the view from the room is just sooo soo good!
Oberoi has become top of my list now!

PS. You can also see Taj Mahal hotel from the room.

Another weekend , same sad story

I posted last week, how my life has become so monotonous. I mentioned that I broke up not long ago, and all the free time just bites me.
Spending weekends checking in at hotels, exploring food, drinking, and just driving around the city, but all alone .
No friends in the city, and no intentions to date.
I drink, i call friends, talk for hours and then just lie down back to the sad life.
There are a lot of stuff that goes on that I want to share. I miss the feeling of being heard. That emotional intimacy
I dont understand what phase of life this is . And here’s another weekend, I have checked in at hotel and have no idea what to do.

Taj Palace Delhi - Junior Suite

Stayed at Taj Palace Delhi over the weekend. I was reluctant in booking the junior suite and requested to see it first. When I saw it, I instantly fell in love.
Interiors so beautiful, newly renovated. All the amenities of a suite except bathtub. A complimentary bottle of wine as well. Tv is really really huge, not sure about the exact dimensions, but definitely very big!
Complimentary lounge access comes along and high tea and evening liquor and snacks are always good.
Over all an amazing stay.

This is what the weekend life has become

I’m 32 and living in NCR for quite some time now. Had a break up not long ago with someone I had planned to marry.
I have not gone out on any date since. Weekends bite me.
I run everyday only to get out of the house and not lose my mind. Cooking has become my therapy.
At weekends I go out, have meals alone, stay at hotels as an escape.
I dont feel like marrying . Weekdays are hell with work. I dont have friends in the city. Life feels stuck .
Another weekend has come, I have already booked a place to stay and absolutely no plans to socialise.
Is there someone else in the same boat? How do you cope with this?

Taj Palace Delhi - vintage suite

I stayed at Taj Palace Delhi at a suite which had a vintage look. I personally love this interior and not the ones they have revamped now.
The stay here as usual was amazing. Stayed for 4 nights. Got complimentary wine every day. Got Complimentary room decoration and bath tub setup as well.
Lounge experience here is best imo. Staff is very very hospitable. Food is great.
Great food at breakfast and in room dining.
I personally love this property and visit very often.

The Savoy Mussoorie

I stayed at The Savoy by ITC in Mussoorie. This is one of the most beautiful properties I have been to. It has that english colonial period look. It used to be a summer house for British officers.
I got the mountain facing English themed premium room. It had a balcony as well.
Food was great, and overall hospitality was also good. Great indian snacks at high tea and evening cocktail hours. We were celebrating a birthday and they offered us complimentary champagne.
They had evening bonfire, music, and other fun activities for all residents. There was a gaming room as well that had pool table, table tennis, etc.
overall it was a fun and cozy stay.

ITC Maurya - towers double

Stayed at ITC Maurya , Delhi.
It is always a pleasure staying at this property. Staff is humble and professional. It is not as hospitable as Taj, but still the standards are very high.
Food is really good. Especially at Bukhara, their famous dal bukhara is so delicious!
Experience at lounge, golf bar is amazing! Food during high tea and cocktail hours is satisfactory, with scope of being better.
Rooms are neat and beautiful!
Overall the stay is great!

Taj Mahal Delhi - Balcony suite

Checked in at Taj Mahal, Delhi over the weekend. Taj has a special place in my heart. No matter which location, the experience is always good! The hospitality is unmatched. Staff goes over and beyond to make the stay comfortable.
I had booked a suite, but they upgraded to balcony suite. Overall space was much bigger than normal suites.
Lounge access is an amazing experience. Great snacks during high tea and cocktail hours. Great ambience at the Blue Bar. Excellent breakfast options. Amazing overall experience.
