I've heard the MGM Grand Buffet has snow crab on the weekends. If that's my main interest in the buffet, is there a reason to go all the way to the Palms instead?

I get everyone has strong opinions about the buffets and the only ones that can recommended anymore are Wynn, Bachanal, and Palms for something cheaper. Am I wrong about MGM Grand having crab legs on the weekends? Or is it prohibitively bad that I should go to the Palms? I can't imagine there being that much of a difference when it comes to the crab legs.

If you keep a wallet in a back pocket, is it the right or the left? And which hand is your dominant hand?

I'm right handed and I've always kept my wallet in my back left pocket. Even though I'm right handed, I always use my left hand for wallet grabbing. But now some of the shorts I'm buying only have one back pocket and it's on the right side and it makes me look like an idiot when I go to reach for a wallet that doesn't exist on that side.

I like Tex Mex, but haven't liked my couple attempts at authentic Mexican. Looking for tips to possibly ease these gringo taste buds in.

My attempts have been carne asada tacos at a couple of different places. I had the same issues with both places, so I need to try a new dish more than a new place.

  • I'm not a fan of soft corn tortillas. Both places had multiple tacos with two corn tortillas each.
  • They were crammed full of meat, but way too much meat. I'm not complaining about the value, but I'd prefer an extra taco as opposed to too much meat throwing off the balance of flavors.
  • Are you supposed to take some of the meet from the taco and put it on the second tortilla? Did they really give me six tacos when I thought they only gave me three?

I was a fan of ChiChi's fajitas when they were around and now Qdoba is my go to for Mexican. I like fajitas, tacos (chicken, steak, carnitas), quesadillas, burritos (preferably the queso burrito from Qdoba). I'm not a huge fan of beans. I tolerate them in my burritos.

Any recommendations for dishes to try? Do I just need to ask them to sub flour tortillas? Why are the ratios off with the meat? Am I the only one that feels this way? I like onion, lime, and cilantro so I should be into the tacos, but I generally don't want to finish them...
