Fire on Garden Street. (Not the Skin Village!)
Unfortunately, it was towards an alley, likely the kitchen & definitely gave some students a big fright!
I saw probably something like 4+ fire engines & police who cordoned off quite a few streets.
The smoke has cleared dramatically but my goodness me does that smoke make it hard to breathe!
Looks like hotpot is off the menu for now.
Massive respect to the fire service, they were there very fast & the hoses still seem to full. Very tight spaces to work with here & construction has closed a road as well.
What is this in my Lamb Kebab?
Please don’t be a parasite or anything like 😭😭😭.
If it is bad what action should I take?
Edit: This was in a half price lamb kebab from Lidl in the UK.
I’m so damn tired of carrying around my passport because that’s the only widely accepted ID I own. I can’t get a driver’s license because I’m epileptic, so that’s not the answer to every club telling me to just get a provisional. CitizenID and Post Office ID cards aren’t accepted everywhere (I’ve seen people get turned away and the internet says that it’s not accepted everywhere) so what the fuck do I do?? Honestly it’s pretty damn ableist if you ask me since many people can’t drive for a lot of reasons but that’s the only reliable alternative to carrying a whole passport around which is just a risk I don’t like taking.
Edit: if one more person says “just get a provisional license and don’t tell them you have epilepsy” I will kill myself
Edit 2: do not come and tell me “that’s life” you condescending pricks
The 'Carmageddon' is going to descend upon London! The video does show that a large number of homes were removed to make way for this monstrosity & how controversial it was (& still is!), "but now we can't imagine life without it". The report even shows some unfinished junction entrances/exits which were never built because tearing up more homes proved to put up too much resistance. I'm hoping the closure can get TFL to rethink its priorities!
