What are some of the best accessories you guys have?

Title is basically it. Looking for little things to add to improve our experience. We don't have any exterior storage, no slide out, no indoor toilet. We use a 5 gallon bucket toilet setup in a pop-up shower tent right now, would really love some ideas to upgrade that! I see a lot of people with those collapsible shelves that hang from the ceiling, would love things like that to free up counter space. Thanks!

What is the health of this big, beautiful tree in my backyard?

I have this gorgeous tree in my backyard. It provides so much shade and lower temperatures for my house and yard. It honestly was a selling point for the house.

Lately, I've been noticing some concerning signs. I worry about the health of it, especially since there are large branches that hang over our bedrooms. There are a couple areas there the bark is stripped away from the tree. I have no idea what causes that, just happen to notice it one day.

A few years ago, I had a sump pump and trough system installed in my basement to mitigate water intake coming in to the back corner of the house. They ran a drain from the sump to the back of the yard, and the path ran a few feet away from the tree, right through where the roots would be. I asked them to avoid damaging them, but who knows if they did honestly. I worry about what would happen if they just cut right through them.

I love this tree, and really don't want it cut down if it doesn't need it. But every time it storms I have so much anxiety about branches coming through our roof or the whole tree toppling over and taking out my family.

I hope this is enough picture evidence of the tree. Thank you all for the help.

How are we brushing our toddlers' teeth?

I have a 1.5 year old that absolutely hates, *hates* his teeth being brushed. It's an every day battle. He screams as if you're sawing his arm off. It takes both of us to hold his arms down, hold his head still, and to brush.

Weirdly, when we first started brushing his teeth, he didn't mind it. He would even take the brush from us and do it himself. Only recently has it become this tortuous. I don't want to traumatize him from us holding him down and forcing the teeth brushing, but I also want him to have good oral hygiene and not develop cavities.

Bike rack.

Hey all! I'm looking for an option for a bike rack. I would like to avoid one that mounts onto the top of the pop-up as I would have to pay someone to install it and want to avoid drilling holes in the roof. Car rooftop ones I would also like to avoid as I am very short and wouldn't be able to use it.

I've seen some that attach to the a-frame on the front of the camper or ones that slide over the ball hitch. Which of these is a more reliable/safer option? I am leaning towards the one that slides over the bitch on my car so then if we wanted to take our bikes somewhere with just the car, we can.

I would like it to be lightweight. It would only have to carry two adult bikes for now and a kid bike in a few years.

Trip Report [Canada's Wonderland]

Went on a solo trip this past Tuesday and Wednesday. There were virtually no lines for anything except Alpenfury. My home park is Cedar Point, I didn't watch any POVs beforehand- I wanted to go in pretty blind. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the rides stacked up to Cedar Point. Many of the rides were more thrilling than I was expecting. I enjoyed the overall themeing of the park. It was a 5 hour drive but it was well worth it. For some reason, I found the layout of the park hard to navigate. Obtaining a physical map helped. I was also stoned, which probably was part of the problem. Really liked the view of the surrounding cities from the lift hills.

I got to the park around 11, went to Behemoth first and walked on. This was a solid 100/10 for me. It was fast, relatively smooth, and didn't let up. The airtime was fantastic. I liked the helix after the break run where you start to build up speed again for the final run. Ended up riding this boy 3x

Stunt Coaster was fun. Nice little launcher. The dark ride portion was cool. Short, though. Rode twice, 6/10

Minebuster: 200/10. Absolutely masterpiece of a woodie. Fast! Smooth. I'm an airtime fiend, I love leaving my seat. The sound this thing makes is incredible, sounds like a steam locomotive barrelling down on you. Really adds to the experience. My new favorite wood coaster.

Silver Streak: 4/10. I mean, I had low expectations going in. I know it's for kids. I still wanted the cred. The first drop was fun. The rest was meh. Good for what it is, though.

Vortex: 7/10 Nice swing coaster, but a little bit janky. Kind of hurt. But really fun.

Mountain Guardian: 2/10 I expected more from the spinning carts. I expected more from the ride overall. The first drop was lackluster. The layout was boring. The free fall at the end was the best part and the only thing that saves it from being a one. The MIB ride at UO is a similar concept ride but utilizes the spinning carts sooo much better. Felt like I wasted my time on this tbh

Thunder Run x3: 10/10 This one took me by surprise. I don't think I've ever been on this ride model before. It felt faster than what it was. Loved the dark ride portion. Really fun lil coaster.

Alpenfury x4: 1000/10. Easily a new top 3 coaster for me. Felt like I was falling out of my seat the whole time. The launch packs a punch. Wish the top hat was a little bigger but the rest of the layout makes up for it. Loved all the rolls and twists.

Leviathan: 6/10. It was okay. Felt a bit lackluster for a giga. Like it's missing something. Also made me gray out a bit which is unpleasant. I wanted to like this one more than I did.

Yukon Striker 6/10 it was okay. B&M dive coasters don't do a whole lot for me is all. I enjoyed it a bit more than Valravyn tbh

I rode Wilde Beast once, it was fun but not standout. Overshadowed by the parks other woodie.

I didn't ride the Fly or Dragonfire because I don't enjoy either of those ride models to the point where it's not worth the pain for me to go on it just for the credit.

The Bat opened part way through my second day, but it's just a boomerang that I've ridden before so I didn't feel a pull to ride it. I was pretty tapped out atp.

I also didn't ride any of the other kiddie coasters. I just didn't feel like seeking them out tbh.

I found all the Flat rides I tried at the park to be fantastic.

Riptide 9/10 loved going upside down and facing the ground. Only wish is was a longer ride

Wilde knights 10/10 reminiscent of old school gravitron rides at the fair which I grew up on

Skyhawk 6/10 was fun, couldn't get myself to spin all the way around

Psyclone 8/10 fun, gives you that funny stomach drop feeling over and over

Lumberjack 8/10 was fun, like any other swinging flat ride

Tundra twister 10/10 new favorite flat ride. I felt like it combined a few different mechanics of flat rides into one. I found it really thrilling.

I wish the park had some sort of transport ride. I kept walking in circles, but that was probably a skill issue.

I could have fit a lot more in if I went harder at it, but I wanted to take it easy and stroll around a bit, and also just don't have the stamina like I used to lmao. I didn't stay the whole time at the park the second day because I felt fulfilled and wanted a head start on the drive. Y'alls traffic is crazy.

You guys have a really great park. I remember last fall chatting with a fellow in line at Cedar Point whose home park is CW. Asked him how it compared and he said it was pretty equal, which I was suspicious about. Now I see where he's coming from.
