Is this any good for my first drawing?

Hi! I don’t really draw like at all despite my whole family being either illustrators or designers/architects. When I was bored i decided to draw a friend of mine with an old sharpie and a pencil and I’ve actually surprised myself with it lol. (Admittedly I did use a reference picture). I’m just wondering if this is actually any good in terms of a beginner sketch? I’ve always joked saying “I didn’t get the artist gene” so I’ve never really tried to create art at all since music has always been more of my thing. However this has given me some hope lol. Am I being totally optimistic, or with practise could I actually have the potential to be able to draw well? Also, if anyone has any potential feedback I would greatly appreciate the help, as now I feel like it would be fun to continue drawing and improve. Thanks!

"mBeidh" i nGaeilge Uladh

Dia daoibh! Táim ag foghlaim Gaeilge Uladh agus ceist agam fá dtaobh de an focal "mbeidh". Conas a déarfá é sa chanúint seo? Mar tá gach fuaimniú a chuala mé cosúil le focail eile ar nós "maith", "mé" agus "meh". GRMA!

Can you put any baked wood in a crestie vivarium?

I'm researching for my very first crested gecko right now, and the price of everything is really adding up lol. Would I be able to take the wood from any tree (obviously baked) and put it in the vivarium? I have a horse chestnut tree in my garden so it would be a lot less hassle if I could just chop up a branch instead of paying a ridiculous amount of money for bits of "reptile wood". Thanks!
