I'm confused about Korean vowels and their pronunciation.
I've become so intrigued by the Korean language due to a steady diet of KDrama that I am trying to learn it. Found a guy on TikTok who likes to make stories and demonstrate letters with them. They make excellent mnemonic devices. He has one that's very thorough about consonants. But I can't find anything on vowels that is similar and it's really good way to learn.
He went over only three vowels in that consonant video. (See photo because I have no hope of doing this with my phone keyboard.) I wrote the pronunciations next to the vowels. My quandary is that I'm finding different pronunciations for the same vowels 😭. How to know which is correct? Does it have something to do with double vowels? (Mind is now 🤯.) If you successfully learned Hangul (or Hangeul as I've seen it spelled) and this helped you to segue into speaking and understanding Korean, please tell me how you did it.
