I love Carrie - this is just a silly post, please don’t take it a serious criticism - but this is an insanely generous, special, valuable gift she did NOT deserve to have her name on!! 😂
Ugh of course Bojack was SO high on the positive attention he received from the first interview about Sarah Lynn’s death he had to go back for more. It’s so frustrating to think of how differently things would have gone, and how much pain he would have avoided if he listened to PC and left well enough alone. 🤦♀️
Speaking loudly and clearly to someone a couple feet away from you and getting radio silence, then having to repeat yourself is infuriating. Sometimes you tell a joke and it comes out naturally and then it doesn’t land the same when you’re repeating it. I truly don’t mind if you’re scrolling through an app or sending a text message while we’re talking, as long as you’re at least still semi present.
Yes, she was cold and standoffish. But even though she wasn’t warm and fuzzy, she was kind and respectful to Carrie. And most importantly she gave Carrie solid advice/warnings about what it’s like being with Aleksandr and how she shouldn’t expect things to change. She was supportive of their relationship but didn’t sugarcoat things Carrie really needed to hear.
It’s so heartwarming and with Carrie’s narration about real people being imperfect I tear up every time I rewatch. 😭
