Looking for an understated luxury bag for my wife, closest to auth possible

Hey everyone, I’m looking to buy a bag for my wife but don’t know much about purses, so I could use some advice.

She likes the Savette Symmetry Trapeze, but I haven’t been able to find a rep. Also considering the Saint Laurent Manhattan, Bottega Andiamo, or Loewe Flamenco.

Something low-key and nice without big logos or monograms.

Which of these has the best rep available? Looking for as close to 1:1 as possible, especially the leather, shape, and hardware. Happy to pay more for better quality.

Would appreciate seller/factory recommendations, similar styles, or photos if you own one. Thanks!

I’m a U.S. citizen currently working in Mexico on a contract assignment that could last a year or longer.

I own a U.S. company and am paid by another U.S. company that has expanded into Mexico. I’m representing that client and supporting its operations on-site in Mexico. I’m not employed or paid by the Mexican company.

There really is no evidence of me working in Mexico. My passport shows my presence in Mexico, that’s all. I guess it would be similar to someone living and working remotely in Mexico.

I’m trying to understand what visa or work authorization I need and whether physically working and staying in Mexico creates Mexican tax obligations, even though the payments are handled in the U.S.

Has anyone dealt with a similar setup? I’m getting conflicting answers and would appreciate any reliable sources or referrals to someone familiar with this situation.

I live in Mexico, so shipping can be slow/expensive with import fees. Ideally looking for something available in Mexico or at least reasonably easy to get here.

For the RO system, our drinking water comes in the large plastic jugs, and I’m assuming they’ve probably spent plenty of time sitting in the heat/sun during storage or transportation. I’d like to pour that water into the RO system mainly to reduce microplastics and any other contaminants.

I’vebeen looking for a new pair of New Balances and I’m leaning toward the 990 or 993.

Style-wise I really like the ALD, JJJJound, Teddy Santis, and other Made in USA collabs. Neutral colors like Castlerock, grey, taupe, olive, etc. are exactly what I’m after.

The problem is I’m not trying to spend crazy resale prices, and I haven’t had much luck finding anything similar that’s still available.

Any colorways or underrated pairs I should be looking at? Doesn’t have to be an actual collab if it has the same clean, understated look.

What’s the best way to get cleaner drinking water in Mexico?

The tap water here is bad, but almost everything comes in plastic. Most people use the big water jugs, and a lot of them sit outside in the heat or sun for who knows how long.

Has anyone found a better setup? Looking for something safe, practical, and with less plastic if possible.
