Is there consensus on how words with the suffix -ās are supposed to be stressed?
I think I read on Vox Latina that it is an exception mentioned by grammarians, that a word like nostrās being from earlier nostrātis is accentuated as nostrás. But I don't think I ever heard this being pronounced like that before, surely I'm a beginner but all videos and introductory books I saw that introduce the pronunciation never mention this, is it because it's a rare exception? I don't think I ever heard anyone say for example Aquīnās as Aquīnás, not even Wiktionary suggests it for this word despite saying nostrās is nostrás. How do most people say it?
