I saw the recent announcement from Microsoft that aoe2 will arrive to macos systems, but won’t allow crossplay with PC players.

I was wondering for the best way to play aoe2 in a mac system and being able to crossplay with PC users. I do have parallels, but I wanted to ask if there’s any other/better option.

Is there a way to solve this issue (play aoe2 from mac with PC crossplay) without parallels that any mac user is happy about?
