80% (24 out of 30 days) of september now has "sale" days. I think that's a new record.

It helped clean up the mess a little.

Just a small heads up regarding the stability of the R36S Handheld Wiki server:

In the last few days the site was often unreachable due to bots hammering my server and pushing the CPU and database bandwidth to its limit. I've noticed up to 6000 page requests per hour from multiple IP's from over 20 different countries (normal is around 20-50). My guess is that this is coming from a crawler bot that's feeding some LLM.

As a counter-measure I've enabled Cloudflare protection and activated "Under Attack Mode". Ressource usage seems to have stabilized now.

Site should be up again and due to Cloudflare's caching faster and more responsive than ever (at least I hope so).

If you have any problems accessing the wiki, please leave a short message or contact me via reddit chat.

Just a heads up for those that are looking to buy an R36S.

DeeDee Stores has been recommended here a couple of times for selling one of the better G80C clones for a very good price. While checking the most recent reviews, I found at least 4 people that got the shitty GA36 model with the weaker chip and zero custom firmware support.

At the moment it's probably the best to avoid this store. You might be lucky and receive one of the G80C model from their remaining stock, but the risk is not worth it imo.

The clones and buying guide on the wiki have been updated with a small warning.

European with no AC here. I am scared of using my PS5 during this heat.

I bought a Gaminja K36 from Temu thinking it would be a decent R36S clone, but I got completely scammed with a "fake of a fake". Temu has really crossed the line with this batch.

I opened it up after failing to flash any CFW, and you can see the absolute mess in the attached picture (KakaoTalk_20260620_095320514.jpg):

• The Board: Clearly marked as K3 V2.0 2510 at the bottom.
• Missing Hardware: It only has ONE RAM chip. You can see the empty solder pads right next to it where the second RAM chip is supposed to be.
• Fake Chipset: The main chip is laser-etched with "Rockchip RK3326", but it is 100% a relabeled cheap garbage chip (probably Ali M3901/GB350).

How I know it's a fake: When I tried to install the ArkOS K36 image, it just gave me a "No TF Card" error. I checked the stock SD card it came with, and the file structure is a joke:

• Zero .dtb files.
• 6 hidden partitions.
• The infamous magic.bin file and a heavily modified batocera folder.

This means you CANNOT install standard ArkOS, Rocknix, or any normal CFW on this garbage. It’s physically impossible because of the proprietary bootloader.

If you're looking at a cheap Gaminja K36 on Temu right now, DO NOT BUY IT. I'm opening a dispute for a full refund citing counterfeit items. Has anyone else received this specific "K3 V2.0 2510" batch recently?

Only 15 days left till the new 3€ tariff per item category in every parcel for all countries in the european union.

Short summary:

• Affected will be all orders outside from the EU (aliexpress, alibaba, temu,...)
• Starting July 1st 2026 (valid till at. least 2028)
• Fee is per item category per parcel. For example if you order multiple handhelds, you'll have to pay 3€, but if your order additional items like cables, dongles, cases, you have to pay another 3€ per item category. If your order is shipped in lots of small parcels, you will get wrecked by fees.
• Fees have to be collected by AliExpress in the future. Similar to the US tariff situation I guess.
• Some countries and package delivery companies will charge additional fees in the future (france, austria)
• Additional handling fees for customs will be implemented in november

With the ongoing sale, this might be a good time to order your stuff now.

It's going to supports lots of devices (including most R36S versions), added multiple new emulators, an enhanced music player and E-book reader. No release so far and no idea about the ETA.
