African Dwarf Frog floating sideways

Looking for advice on why they are doing this. I know they do a lot of weird things, but since they are primarily doing this and not much else, it seems odd.

Have had two ADFs for a few months now and noticed yesterday that this one is floating sideways like this. Lightly nudged them the first time to verify they’re alive and they swam down to the bottom and right back up into this position.

Just did a partial water change about 5 days ago, water despite brownish tint to water. I have mopani wood in there that won’t quit releasing tannins.

Tankmates include various snails, 5 corydoras, 5tetras, and one other ADF that seems to be doing perfectly well.

I’ll run a full water test in a bit and post levels.

Floating sideways at surface

Noticing one of my two African Dwarf Frogs is just hanging around the surface sideways. This isn’t something I’d seen either do prior to a few days ago.

Is this normal, or an indication of sickness?

Did a 40% water change about 5 days ago. Other tank mates are various snails, Corydoras, and tetras.

Homeless vs Unhoused

Unpopular opinion? I don’t see the difference in the meanings so why are we all of a sudden expected to say “unhoused” and acting like “homeless” is offensive, or more offensive than the former?

There’s probably about 50-100 mini ramshorn babies lurking about and I need to do a WC today.

How unethical would it be if I sucked some of these guys up during the water change? Not crazy about killing anything, but I feel like we’re on the brink of a biome battle.

I have mystery snails and mini ramshorn snails. Is this another ramshorn, or did I possibly get new hitchhikers in my last batch of plants?

I have a long 20g tank with 2 mystery snails, 1 Cory, 1 tetra (he had friends but they came diseased and died), and I have two mature Ramshorn snails and probably 20 juvenile ones (just a guess, I can only find about 5 so far).

I do plan to get likely another 5ish smaller fish, and I’d love to get a Rabbit snail, or two. I have started scraping off any new Ramshorn eggs I see, but at what point may I be at max capacity?
