Scorchio Sunday!! 🫠

Met Office is now saying it'll be 31 or 32C for kick-off on Sunday. That's crazy, summer world cup, kind of temperatures for football.

No idea how that might impact a single game, probably not much, but do bring a hat if you're coming!!

"West Ham wanted to feel like a big club. With Sullivan running the show, though, they had no idea how to be one" | The Guardian

A perfectly serviceable summary of our woes, both long-term and immediate, from Steinberg.

Nothing new here, but you can feel the knives being sharpened for relegation.

There's a lot here, and you need to have some interest or knowledge of football finance to get through it. Most sobering stuff, but some options about new investment and Sullivan leaving or taking a back seat...

I think section B.3 Five refinancing scenarios is the most interesting part for most people, just accept how much shit the club is in financially and read about some possible solutions for how to move forward.

Even if the club is in quite serious financial issues, it's a big asset still: with a large and loyal fanbase, a massive stadium that's costing peanuts, and a squad that's proven over the last few months to be better than most relegated teams.

From our point of view, all that value doesn't sound great, it's just us (exploitable), a stadium we dislike, and a squad that's largely going to leave. But to investors those are all still assets, ones that can and will underpin further investment.

Time confirmed for the game on Sunday 17th.

Also Spurs are now playing Chelsea 8.15pm on Tues 19th.

So all of Spurs next three games come after ours. A good opportunity to win first and put the pressure on them.

There's a 'screw' that can be tightened in the base of my airbrush, what does it do?

I think it's the Valve Closing Screw? There's no purpose mentioned in the manual.
