Random update today

Anyone know what the 6.4GB update was for today. Looked on the Offl. website and didn't see anything on it. Just curious what it was for ..cause....didn't fix the loading issues 😑

Is it just me oorrrr..???

So, since about 2 weeks before the release of the 2026 update, I noticed the games performance was more poor than previously, such as laggy/glitchy game play, long loading screens, and items such as race suit designs and liveries taking ages to fully load up.

I figured it was just because EA was getting the game and servers ready for the DLC, and it would be fixed with the update and DLC.

Well doesn't seem like it was. The laggy/glitchy part seems to be gone, but things still load at the speed of pond water.

I have cleared system cache, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game..... And still same issue...wheather I'm online or offline.

Anyone else experiencing this also? I'm on Xbox Series .

Decided to hop on F124 for the first time in hot minute, and it wasnt as bad as I remembered, could be because I have a different wheel now since I last played in early 2025, who knows, but I had a good time and probably one of the cleanest passes that I have ever recorded.

First Norris tried to force me towards the edge of the track, then box me in behind Piastri, but I had too much speed from DRS and the draft..it was real close , risky and a little aggressive, but i was carrying just the right amout of speed to be able to just barely squeeze through without contact for a clean 3 for 1 pass.

The top part of the video is live racing and the lower video is the same part of the top video, but cut from the replay, so you could see trackside view also.

Wheel fixed F125

SO with the new 2026 DLC and Update for F1 25, looks like they have fixed the wheel match rotation issue on Xbox console. You can now have 360 in game and 360 in pit house ..instead of like 1800-1900 in pit house.

Love these battles to the front

Started the race in P12 and worked my way up to P1. I normally do live videos, but i wanted to do 1st and 3rd person POV and only way to do that wqs with replays. Anyway, who else is looking forward to the F126 DLC?

Wheel FFB solution

So if you are struggling to feel the car under you or feel like the cat is floating... well i have a solution...to part of the problem.

The new patch did fix the over feel of the cars, but we all know something still feel off. Part of that is tuning the vehicle setups within the game, which many have proven, including myslef, that it tuning does wonders.

Now the other issue, is wheel set up. The in game wheel settings are set to rediculious damping to off set the rediculious default tunes.

So i figured tuning the wheel first will help get the best tunes. And it did. The tunes i had for my cars woke up when i did what im about to share with you guys.

Now i know this works with the Moza R3 and R5... but it might work for higher NM DD Mozas or even other wheels. See attached images for wheel seetings.

For the car wheel settings, i have that set up for every car. This i can promise you will help you find a new love for the game.
