Jazzblaster curious

I’m thinking of modding one of my Jazzmasters into the fabled (especially if you like Sonic Youth) Jazzblaster. Does anyone reading this have prior experience with making this pick up swap? If so, did the Tele Deluxe pick ups fit in the footprint of the stock soap bars, or did you need to mill?

First trip cross country in the 4R!

Handled the Rockies fairly well, dragged on a few inclines for sure and definitely got passed by a semi or two. Colorado 4R’s were resplendent! It was a pleasure to cruise 70 and 25 with you guys for a bit.

Took a mild trail through part of the Mojave National Preserve, and then on up to Topanga for the night. Truck is weighed down, but handling well, next stop Yosemite.

Stopped in Nebraska for an oil change at a local Toyota stealership and then tried to get me to swap my diff and my stock rear shocks because they swore they were leaking! I figured it was probably just build up from last season’s undercoat (my shop goes heavy). Took the truck to Toyexus the following morning in Denver and they confirmed my suspension, and then drained and refilled the diff just for peace of mind entering the Rockies.

Main take away for me - time to get a new lift when I get back east.

Red tailed Hawk (I believe) in Topanga Canyon snacking on a Gopher / Bullsnake

I was working in the Canyon yesterday when this hawk stopped near me to have lunch. I didn’t move any closer to the bird, just stood in place and filmed.

Spotted along the Appalachian Trail [Lehigh Valley, PA]

Please pardon the previous premature post, I was still in draft mode, and accidentally hit send.

Who’s this eating lunch? I couldn’t quite tell if there were one or two. I didn’t stay long so as not to disturb.

Thank you in advance!

[Lehigh Valley, PA Appalachian Trail]

This is an area that hike frequently. It’s known to have Rat Snakes, Copperheads (most recent sighting pictured first), and Timber Rattlesnakes. Would it be possible to identify this shed?

I have two MIM Jazzmasters, both with 60’s specs. The walnut is a Limited Edition 60th Anniversary circa 2019, the olympic white is a CME 60’s Jazzmaster circa 2017 according to their respective serial numbers. I thought it might be of interest to some in this sub to see the difference in bridge set ups to achieve intonation.
