I love the concept of the phone, just not the fact that it's riddled with Google. Has anyone found a way to get around this. If i got my hands on one, I'd make a lot of changes to the apps, so I'm wondering if it can be done.

Are there any transfers or first year's that have been able to access canvas on the mobile app? I'm trying, but it's only working on the web. I think the link is broken cuz it takes me to playstore, but when I look up the UC merced URL within canvas, it doesn't take my credentials.

The form that they provided for a parking permit is listed for freshmen and commuters, but im neither. Do they reject people who sign up for semester parking passes? I had to tell them why I wanted to bring my car on campus, which is kinda goofy.

I swear I'm so sick of the ai slop, the ads, the censorship, the ai moderation, the lack of real moderation, the prioritization of monetization over the actual users of the app. can someone pls make like an old YouTube mod or something ts is getting out of hand. All my content is age restricted, and I'm literally an adult 😑

ok so basically I applied as a first year, bc the uc system lwk did not gaf that im graduating w several associate degrees. IE I'm practically a junior. I literally do not need to take these placement exams cause I have the credits to show for it. they are due tn what do I do
