Jobs?

My dad was recently deported from the US back to Mexico. He was sent to Merida and is now in Oaxaca. He is 60 and can speak English also. He’s always worked in construction, pipelines, and operate large heavy equipment, he was always a boss. There he is currently homeless without a dollar to his name. Is there any places that o could point him in the right direction to help him out in getting a job.? Thank you!

Management or lending ?

I’ve been working at a credit union for eight months and have no prior financial industry experience other than my time as a teller here. I have an interview coming up for a Branch Team Lead position, but I may also have the opportunity to move into a lending role.
The way it was presented to me was- Do you want to make more money now by going into management, or do you want to grow into a lending/production role that has more long-term earning potential?
Both positions would be a challenge for me, and I think I’d enjoy aspects of each. I’m having a hard time deciding which path would be better for my long-term career growth and future opportunities.
For those of you who have worked in banking or credit unions, which route would you choose and why? Which role tends to open more doors down the road and has the better earning potential over the course of a career?

Wishing for a birthday shoutout lol

I’m just putting this out there to maybe manifest or just dream. My fiancé’s birthday is the night of the Boulder show Aug 22nd and I just dream of Tyrone giving him a shoutout in the middle of the set. I can’t even imagine the feeling the love of my life would have. Obviously -100% chance but just wanted to put it out there to the world lol. We’re still gonna have an incredible time. We’re as also taking my brother and sister in law… they aren’t fans so I can’t wait to watch their brains melt while watching and experiencing something incredible for their soul. That is all :)

FOUR teeth extracted

Including one wisdom tooth. What should I do to prepare for the pain. They just said no straws, smoking. Ibuprofen for pain. But I’m really scared
