What is the standard name structure to be used for naming a new born baby in AP/India?

Hi Everyone,

I need to name my new born baby and I'm not sure what will be the standard naming structure to use.

In general, most parts of the world it like <FirstName> + <Surname/Lastname>
Eg: Indira Gandhi / Adolf Hilter

But in south India, I see names are like the surname/village name/father name is placed in front and then the actual or given name next. And also caste is also appended in the end.
Eg: Nara Chandra Babu Naidu

Sometimes few folks have initials as prefix (Not sure what will the prefix stand for) and the surname/caste name at the end
Eg: Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy

How bit confused which structure to follow when naming a baby? Please share your thoughts.

Disclaimer: Names are for references purpose only. I've given them as examples. These are not the names I'm suggesting or going to use for my kid.

Documents check list & other items to keep handy after purchasing Term insurance

Hi All,
I have bought a term insurance plan from Axis recently. I'm just new to insurance and all. I wanted to know what documents do I need to keep handy and share with my dependents. Also, what details do I need to gather? Like helpline/email contact something like those. What other details, documents that I have keep handy.

Thanks in advance.

Same fuel, different prices: Why does petrol cost ₹113 in one state and ₹97 in another?

Petrol prices across India still vary massively despite the fuel being sourced from the same national supply chain. Andhra Pradesh is currently among the most expensive at ₹113/litre, while states like Arunachal Pradesh and UTs like Andaman & Nicobar are far cheaper.

A huge part of this difference comes from state-level VAT and local taxes added on top of central excise duties. That’s why neighbouring states can sometimes have surprisingly different fuel prices even when crude oil prices remain stable globally.

It’s one of the clearest examples of how taxation directly affects everyday living costs in India, especially for middle-class families, transport workers, and businesses that depend heavily on fuel.
