Any first-gen college students here? Seeking support for dissertation. $5 compensation!

(Mods please delete if not allowed!)

I'm a PhD candidate in Education Policy, seeking for support from first-gen college students to help with my dissertation research by completing a short survey. Right now first-gen students are underrepresented in the sample, so I'm working to find more. However, we're also currently taking responses from non-first gen students who are non-STEM majors.

The survey is about how you perceive your high school and early college preparation and whether it actually helped you succeed academically. There are no right or wrong answers. It takes about 10-15 minutes, and you'll have the option to enter your name and .edu email for a $5 Amazon eGift card after completing it.

You may be eligible if you're a current undergraduate and have a valid .edu email associated with a 4-year institution. Feel free to pass along to friends you think would be eligible. Just a heads up that we do manually verify submissions before sending compensation, so please only submit if you're genuinely eligible and completed the survey honestly.

Feel free to ask any questions about the survey or the research!

Also, if you're interested in the transition from a teacher licensure program to graduate school, I'd be happy to answer any questions, offer any support or advice as well in return. I have a lot of great things to say about UIUC in particular!

Anyone have any experience renting with Jacob Lei?

They have plenty of 1 star reviews on Google with several 5 star reviews too, wondering if those 5 star reviews are fake or incentivized.
