Do I need a photography permit?
Assalamu aleykum
Do I need any license / permit to take photos in Saudi? I was checking online that one is needed for commercial photography. But what about personal / artistic photography? I couldn’t find anything.
I see lots of people taking pictures with their mobiles, but I’d like to use my camera so obviously it will draw more attention than just using a mobile phone.
Any advice would be welcome…
Where to witness udhiya?
Where in Madinah would it be possible to offer udhiya and actually witness it (as it was in the past)? And also to then take some of the meat?
It’s recommended that the first food on Eid day should be from the udhiya if one offers it. It’s also recommended to divide it in 3: for oneself, as gifts (eg to neighbours), and as charity to the needy.
The apps are convenient, but you don’t get a share of the meat - all is distributed to others, and also you can’t witness it…
I would appreciate any pointers.
