The state of Hawai'i according to my mother in law

We are from Washington state and have been on your beautiful island since the 11th for our babymoon - we're currently at the airport waiting for our flight back home. I thought you might get a kick out of the texts my MIL has been sending us - I've explained multiple times that Hawai'i has multiple islands and have sent her direct links to Honolulu weather and flight tracking info for our flight but she's convinced we are experiencing the apocalypse.

Mahalo for sharing Oahu with us, and I hope everyone affected by Lala is okay!

Standard vehicle transfer policy - Sonic dealership

Hi folks, I found a used BMW iX that matches all of my requirements but it's located in Colorado (I live near Portland, OR). I contacted the dealership and they said they charge $1 per mile and can deliver the vehicle to me, but I have to travel to the nearest Sonic dealership (which is in Idaho) to sign papers in person. Is that a typical arrangement, and would I have any issues taking the vehicle to a non-Sonic BMW sales/service location for repairs (there's one much closer than Idaho).

What are some similar mobile games?

I love Meow Tower and am on hard puzzle #1373. I've tried downloading other puzzle games, but the forced ads are SO annoying. I prefer Meow Tower's style, it's not forced, but ads can be used if you want. I would even rather go for a paid puzzle game than a free one with forced ads. Any recommendations?

"How much do you love your dog?" "Uhhh, this much I guess"

I had a $100 printing credit at office depot and couldn't think of anything better to do with it. I'm going to tell my great-grandchildren that yes, he was really this big.

We're going to Oahu for our babymoon in August and I am dying for some good sushi. I have an autoimmune response to gluten so I can't do any of the fried rolls, and I know that plenty of pregnant people still eat raw sushi but this is a VERY wanted baby after 5 years of infertility/IVF and I don't want to risk anything.

Before I was pregnant, I would just do sashimi/nigiri (love salmon, bluefin, yellowtail, scallop, uni) and now a lot of that is off the table unless cooked or seared very well - and many rolls have imitation crab that contains gluten. Please give me your best recs!

My safe dessert order at restaurants is an affogato if they don't have anything gluten free. I asked for one and they said they would ask the chef - who came out to apologize and say they didn't have any avocados. I had to explain I wanted ice cream and a shot of espresso, not a savory snack for dessert 😅
