Scored this Murray 42” zero turn for $1,500 at Home Depot

I went to HD today planning to buy a respectable walk behind mower. When I got there I see all the riding and zero turns they had displayed up front right outside the store. I noticed all the Murray branded zero turns were marked down and on the price tag it said “As is - Damaged. $500 off. Knicks and scratches but runs and works perfectly”.

They were brand new still in their packaging and they had them marked down from $2,899 to $2,399. I asked the manager if he would write it up for $1,500 and I’d buy it on the spot. He said yes! I had about $260 in store credit and pro rewards which brought my total down to $1,331 out the door.

I brought it home and gassed it up and gave it a quick wash, I ran it for a few minutes to inspect everything and it was all perfectly brand new. There was no damage that I could see so I feel quite good about this purchase. I’ve never owned any Murray equipment so I’m curious to see how it will perform.

(P.S: don’t be afraid to ask for a lower price, because they could say no… but they could say yes! The worst thing that’ll come of it is them saying no!)

Disappointing results switching to T-Mobile Fiber Internet

I’ve been with AT&T fiber home Internet for the last two years or so, I had the 1 gig plan and I was paying $80/month. Overall had a very good and positive experience with them, the few times that the Internet went out and needed a technician to get back online, was from either a storm or the neighbor accidentally digging through my line. They were always very quick to come out and fix the problem sometimes even the same day. I saw T-Mobile started offering Fiber in my area and I went for the founders club promotion which was $70 a month for 2 gig service. No brainer, i get double the speed for 10 bucks less a month? Sign me up. After they came and installed everything, I went to try out my new service. The results were very disappointing. It was significantly slower from my 1 gig service with AT&T. The router they gave me was the Gateway Eero Pro 7 and a Eero 7 extender.

I’m curious if anyone else has had similar results? I’m thinking about canceling and just staying with AT&T.
