(UK - London) Choosing a home with great square footage but distance to central london or a home with a smaller sqft but in a great location within central london.

Basically the title.

There is also the added (well not really but you know what I mean) guilt when talking about this with friends who are still renting and cant even afford a deposit to purchase their first flat. I've shortlisted homes in areas that my budget allows that have great detached homes for the sqft (6000 sqft which for london and UK is huge) that it provides + catchment for good grammar schools but i'm having trouble balancing this against homes that are in arguably better postcodes but are much much smaller.

There are worse things to genuinely be losing sleep over, but the pros and cons of each home I have visited and done extensive insight into match one another. So yeah, it's been a month of feeling stuck and im not sure which to go with. Any of you been through something similar?

The spark is back - Franklin Richards

Beast geared me up to do some tests to figure out what the new status was with my powers. The instant he flipped the switch, my hands legit started radiating with that reality warping energy again. I could just about make out Hank mummering behind his monitors, something about cosmic reserves slowly increasing, honestly, the relief is so massive I could cry.

It’s not my full-blown power quite yet, but the spark has been lit fully and I'm officially done being a useless nobody. It will take a long time for me to be consistent, but in the mean time i shall train in the danger room and with other students!

You can disucss Ope without saying he's "white washed" and attributing it to him being adopted by white parents.

So on tiktok and from a few comments here (but they were deleted), people have found out that ope has white parents (he's adopted). They are now saying it makes sense why he wants a blonde scottish women and doesnt like black women. They're also saying his theatrical behaviour is because he is white washed and hates being black and it "all makes sense" because of how his parents look.

I think as someone who is a black and also adopted by white parents i find these discussions to be pretty hurtful to be honest. I also feel like it's tarring a small minority with the same brush to maybe make you feel better in the moment but not really have a genuine or constructive conversation about Ope.

I'm ehtnically nigerian but my parents made a HUGE effort to make sure that i was in touch with that and they have fiercley fought for me when i have faced racism too. I would never ever disparage black people though as i am not unaware of who i am, i just hate that his specific upbrining is being slandered in the manner that it is.

I felt this way ever since his introduction. The constant "he talks white" or he "thinks hes white" but then people complain about a monolith of black people if they devaite a minutie from the what is perceieved to be the norm.

Guys we can have conversations about people. Constructive ones, i think hes a bit of a pratt and angelique and honestly, all other girls are better off without him. But saying him being "white washed" and it being down to having white parents is freaking stupid and insane. Attributing speaking in a certain way to being white is also inadverntly suggesting being black is being another way i dont know if people realise that.

Sorry for the rant, i just want people to do better when having talks about the show.
