New Jersey spring break bill

The legislation directs the Commissioner of Education to recommend a set of uniform spring break dates for school districts statewide, ensuring families can enjoy their time off without the conflicts of mismatched schedules.
---------------------------------------

I'm for a set break but I don't like the recommendation mystery.

Will it be halfway between President's Day week (when some schools are off) and the typical end of the school year in mid to later June?

Is it really going to take effect next year despite calendars being set? Or wait till '27-28?

For instance in Glen Rock the break is insanely early on March 22-26, 2027. In Ridgewood it's March 29-April 2, while it's much more desirable in Paramus (April 12-16) and Fair Lawn (April 19-23).

Citi Field looming-haven't won series there since 2018 or Full Subway series since 2017

Next up after Baltimore is the first half of the subway series against the Mets. Even though we are the Yankees, we haven't had a Yankees like Subway Series since 2017.
In 2018 we started 2-0 at Citi Field then lost the last game and went 1-2 in the Bronx portion to end up 3-3. Since then they have been no better than 2-2/3-3 which thanks to losing 12 of the last 16 including 8 of the last 10 at Citi and are still looking for the first Subway Series win under Aaron Boone!

After losing this first game in Baltimore it's four straight losses with only 8 total runs. They need to wake up the next two nights in Camden Yards before shifting to Citi Field.

Last year they were swept in Toronto and lost the first two games at Citi, they need better momentum this time!

In this exact round in 2024 between the Rags and Canes, I vaguely thought there would be competition for whom the fan base despised more but the Rags easily won that vote. Now will the Flyers be similarly?
