Caught Lyme and took doxy within 3 weeks (I think). Is 2 weeks of doxy enough or should I ask for another prescription to be safe?

So June 1st I start feeling like I'm getting sick and go to bed. The next morning I wake up with a fever. A week or so later I get rashes and a week after that, the doctor tells me my Lyme test came back positive and I start on doxycycline. I suspect I got bit on a fishing trip in the woods on May 30th, 2 days before the fever. So I started doxy 19 days after I suspected I got bit.

Right now I'm on like day 11 of doxy. I feel great. The rashes and remaining sick symptoms (muscle pain on the torso and head pressure) went away a few days after taking the meds and I feel completely fine. My prescription runs out this Wednesday and I have a doctors visit for a physical scheduled for Thursday.

I've heard of recommendations to stay on doxy for a month because of other possible things I could've gotten from Lyme, but many of these seem to be advised for chronic long term cases? I'm not sure how that affects me after catching it relatively early. Should I ask my doctor to prescribe me another week or two of doxy or is the 2 weeks of taking it fine for me?

Thank you!

Best way to collect all Response Comments in a sequential approval with multiple approvers?

Need some assistance with this. My flow has a sequential approvers list with 7 approvers and an "Update Item" between each approver to update the Status.

I'd like to collect each comment and display each collective comment to the next approval. So Approver 2 will get Approver 1's comment. Approver 3 with get both Approver 1 and 2's comment. Approver 4 will get Approver 1,2 and 3's comments and so on and so forth.

Of course, applying a Response Comment in the approval cause a For Each loop, which causes issues with fetching comments from outside the loop.

Can someone let me know how I could get around this? I'm sort of a noob at Power Automate so if you could please add details to your instructions, that would be amazing.

Thank you!

How are the $100 meat slicers from Amazon for hot pot and thin shaved meats?

I would love to buy the $358 BESWOOD meat slicer but I just can't justify spending that much on a tool I'll use here and there. If anything, I may be convinced to buy the $229 VEVOR alternative.

I've tried the manual slicers that resemble a paper cutter and they do cut the meat pretty thin but I'm limited to the size of the frozen meat it can cut as well as the arm has bent out of the shape after repeated use so my cuts are sometimes way off now.

I'm looking at those $100 electric deli slicers on Amazon such as this $102 OSTBA Slicer and wondering if they have the power to cut through frozen meats and if they do it efficiently enough so I'm not spending 4 seconds cutting one slice.

Does anyone have these $100-ish 200W slicers on Amazon and have experience using it on frozen meats for hot pot, shabu shabu, bulgogi, etc.? Is it worth it or better to spend some more money on the more expensive options?

Thanks!

Does recharging the A/C really require so much equipment?

Both my cars (2011 Acura TL and 2010 Honda Ridgeline) are suffering the same A/C issues. Driver side blows much hotter than passenger side. This could be the blend door actuators conveniently breaking at the same time on both vehicles. But after doing some research, it seems low refrigerant is a much more plausible answer as maybe the refrigerant circulates through the passenger side first and then loses a lot of cooling power by the time it hits the driver side. Plus, passenger side still isn't blowing fully cold so something's wrong.

I DIY everything on my cars so I took a look into an A/C recharge. To my understanding, to correctly do this I would need A/C gauge set, a vacuum pump, and a tank to recover the refrigerant in the lines? This seems like $200-$250 in equipment (not including the refrigerant itself) by itself for a job I'd rarely be doing and I have no idea if parts stores even rent all this out.

Am I understanding this process correctly?

Explorer E30 runs for 20-40 minutes and then stops. Any ideas why?

I have the non-bluetooth or wifi version of the Explorer E30. A normal cycle runs for 2 hours. I've been noticing that it would run for 20-40 minutes and then stop. This thing is about 4 years old now and I really don't want to replace it as these suckers are expensive lol.

Any direction or possible answers would be much appreciated, thanks!

Daiwa Tatula XT ($99) and Daiwa Regal LT 2500 ($79) for my first "real" rod/reel setup to get back into fishing. Good price and combo?

A few friends recently got into fishing and have been trying to get me back into it. I used to fish as a kid but with a cheap $20-30 dollar rod/reel. Now that I'm older and have money, I was going to grab a more legit setup.

My goal was originally $70-80 for a rod and reel. As you can tell from the title, it is now $180 lmao.

Target is a spinning reel setup.

From an Ugly Stik GX2 to a Aird-X, I finally landed on a Tatula XT Which I found at Dick's for $99. Many people said it's the best bang for your buck at $100. I went to Dick's and held all 3 rods. Ugly Stik GX2 was so heavy. Aird-X and Tatula felt similar but I liked the feel of the handle on the Tatula more.

For the reel, I went from a Shimano Sienna to a Daiwa Regal LT which I also see on Dick's for $79. Many people say Regal is the best bang for your buck on the Daiwa reels. I took a look at AliExpress and the best I could see after discounts and adding shipping costs is getting it for around $70. At that point, the $9 more I spend at Dick's would give me a peace of mind that I'm getting a legit product, even though many people say AliExpress is legit products. I also chose the 2500 as it seems to be a good multi-purpose middle ground.

Is there anything you would change or anywhere else you would buy my chosen setup for a better price? Not exactly sure what I'll be fishing for but definitely bass so we can use that as the extreme?

And yes, I know I have to spend some money on hooks, lures, and line.

Thanks!

Is there way to update Status in Child Flows?

Hello!

So I have a workflow where depending on what choice from a choice field is selected, the workflow goes to 1 of 3 sets of approvers. I also wanted to track the status so I added an Update Item before every approval so we know where the workflow currently is using Microsoft Lists.

Well with so many approvals and items, the flow got too big and would constantly crash. So I decided that child flow would be perfect to take load off the main flow. So I made all 3 sets of approvers into their own child flow. But now it seems that the status no longer gets tracked. In the child flow, you can still select the Status Value in the Update Item but when a flow is in progress, the Status shows nothing in Microsoft Lists.

Does anyone know a work-around to this?

Thanks in advance!

Create Simple Connected Failed. I'm getting this error when creating a standard approval in a child flow (Solutions)

I'm trying to create a child flow in Solutions so I can maintain a set of approvers but it's giving me a "Create Simple Connection Failed" error.

I've gone to my Connections and reconnected every single one that was not connected or failed and it's still not working. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Flow is too big and constantly crashing. Is there any way to compress this?

The flow is simple but has a lot of steps. Currently, there is a choice field with 3 choices. Each choice has their own set of approvers with like 5-6 approvers each.

So the flow goes item is created and then it goes into a Switch condition with 3 cases. Each case has 5-6 approvals in it as well as an Update item field for each approval for total about 12 items in each case, 36 altogether. The Update item field is so I can set an status because one of the requirements is tracking where the workflow is and who it's pending on. After that it goes into one more approval to end the flow.

I'm assuming those 36 items in the Switch condition (half Update item, half approvals) are causing the constant crashing. The flow still works, but it's so difficult to work on it because of how bad it lags.

Any idea to simplify this or is my best solution to split up the each of the 3 choices to their own fields and workflow?

My friend asked me to build her a confessional booth for her wedding. Something a videographer can use to film people. She said she wanted it to be "reality TV style" and came up with this idea. She said it's also going to be outdoors.

So my plan is simple. Build a 4x8 framed box with an opening on one side. I'm going to use 1/2 inch OSB painted white for the walls and floor. I figured I'd also add a "ceiling" only because it's going to be outside. The inside is going to be lined with solid white curtains. I offered to build a bench inside but she insisted 2 chairs would be fine. Then I'll use my 3D printer to print out letters to spell out CONFESSIONAL BOOTH on the top. Then I figured the exposed framing on the outside might be ugly for a wedding so I'd use the white OSB to cover the outside up as well.

Anything you'd change about this or add onto? I'm wondering if this has a chance of tipping over in case it's windy outside. Maybe hammer some stakes made out of mitered 2x4 and screw it into the booth?

Thanks!
