How annoying are low offers actually?

Long time vinted user, but mostly buying and very little recent selling experience. Part of the fun for me has always been sending ‘offensive’ offers and seeing how low I can get something (I treat it similarly to facebook marketplace). Unless something is already super cheap and/ or I want it super bad, I’ll usually go near the lowest possible offer to see what happens.

I keep seeing this subreddit pop up with sellers complaining about low offers, so I’m wondering how bothersome it actually is to receive lowballs?

My personal rules:

- I don’t offer low on things that are already too low (less common now, but a few years ago you’d sometimes see older people/ parents not realising what they had and selling designer for like £1)

- don’t offer where people have explicitly said they’re not accepting offers

- never argue with a rejection, but do continue to counter offer if they counter offer

- if I offer then buy something else or decide I don’t want it, I usually message to apologise/ explain

I’ve never had sellers complain at me (other than one girl who cussed me out for not buying within 4 mins of an accepted offer…) and I like to think I’m polite with it. Does it clog inboxes or something? Like is there an actual inconvenience I don’t know about?

Reddit app UI just changed on me. Heart rate is up 😅

Opened my app to new horrors (buttons in slightly different places). Does anyone else find these kinds of changes stressful? At least the font is the same 🥲.

Breast access healing time

I currently have a large abscess in my left boob which I have been taking antibiotics for (only 3/14 days so far). I was wondering what changes I should expect to see/ feel (if any) over the course of antibiotics?

I’m not lactating, it was possibly caused by an infected piercing. Most of the advice online is for breastfeeding etc saying to express discharge and apply hot compresses, which I assume I’m not meant to be doing myself? I wasn’t given lots of guidance other than take the pills.

It is still sore and hard and I think the same shape/ size, but nipple discharge has stopped. I do have a check-up soon for updated imaging and possibly drainage, but I just wanted to know what is supposed to be happening in the meantime.

Ibuprofen and bowel endo?

I was wondering if anyone had any information (anecdotal or resources) about whether it’s safe to take ibuprofen/ NSAIDS with bowel endo? I know it’s not advised with other bowel conditions, and there are risks of ulcers/ bleeding associated with frequent use regardless - I can’t find anything specific advice with considerations around endo, especially if it’s inside the intestines?

For context, I had adhesions on the outside of my bowels excised in January but am yet to have any other internal /other gastrointestinal (GI) investigations (hopefully seeing a GI specialist soon 🙏). I have had unpredictable and uncomfortable bowel movements post-op which I have put down to recovery, but am trying to look after my body better generally and am hoping not to make things any worse.

I am taking ibuprofen (lysine, if that makes a difference?) most days at the moment. I only take the recommended dose or less, but I used to take a lot more for years pre-op. I’m not necessarily looking for personalised advice, just wondering if anyone else has knowledge or experience of this?

TL;DR:

- are there any links between presence of bowel endo and bowel damage from ibuprofen use?

- is it safe to frequently use NSAIDs with bowel endo?
