Tomlinson Run State Park West Virginia

I was following the AllTrails app for the Fuse, Beech, Upper Laurel, Maple, Big Foot and Fern Loop trail. Came across these old dynamite shacks. No signs or plaques explaining what they needed dynamite up here. I hiked 8.5 miles (I added a trail and some backtracking to the apps trail) and didn’t see any mines or remnants of one. Maybe it was for blasting to build the road or the dam. You never know what you’ll find .

Some days I wonder why I do this

Lovely Indiana sent us through this work zone in Elletsville. Had to raise the trailer as high as it would go to get the deck over the curb.
