55M, I lowered my leg exercise weight levels but did more reps and like magic my knees feel better.

I wish I felt the same long term recovery that I had when I was lifting heavier. On the bright side I’ll probably have fresher legs for biking. I’m only lifting with my legs about once a week or every other week. Not related, but I’m doing calves every other day or so.

Rack you weights, please!

I was taught to always rack my weights after finishing and that it was just the end of the work out. I recently watched a guy about 30 years old leave eight plates on the leg press. He was a real douche. I was dead lifting next to it on a smith machine and some young girls walked up to the leg press and really looked exasperated at the moving all that weight. I walked over and helped them and they were so thankful. Remember guys, we’re twice as strong as they are. Also, newer gym members may not have the same strength you have.

How did you try harder to save your relationship (assuming children are involved)?

You’ve been cheated on and you have children together. How did you attempt to reconcile? Assuming you sincerely tried, why do you think it did or did not work?
