Not sure if others here have faced this, but there seems to be a pattern with GST registrations in Delhi.

Across ~20+ recent cases I’ve come across, most rejections came down to a few common mistakes:

1. Address proof mismatch
Name on electricity bill / rent agreement doesn’t match the applicant > instant red flag.

2. Missing or weak NOC
If you're using a rented or residential place, a proper no-objection certificate is often ignored or poorly drafted.

3. Using residential address without clarity
It can work, but documentation has to be clean. A lot of people assume it's automatic.

4. Poor-quality document uploads
Blurry scans / cropped documents → surprisingly common reason for rejection.

5. Unreliable address setups
Some people go for “quick fixes” for address proof, and it backfires during verification.
