I invented a new Pirate sport, Boat flipping which then lead to uh the first space ship...

So, all this was to dry dock my boat. Instead, I flipped it, and then well, launched it into space....

Do I get points for having named it the USS Enterprise?

So went back and played the un-modded diablo 1....my thoughts

Last time I played this was on the ps1, and then the PC, ages ago. So I decided to try it out again on PC. Game had the nostalgia effect going for sure. But good lord, I forgot how painful the pc version is to play with a mouse. Never have I ever missed the ability to hit ALT or whatever button you had bound to see items on the ground more....Because even on a good monitor you cant see things on the ground. Sure you can listen and watch for the item flop, but if you are ranged those drop noises happen very easily off screen. Another thing, there are regular health potions just sitting on the ground. You can VERY easily miss them, along with weapons, with out the ability to hit alt to see the items. I think that is most painful thing. Dunno why the PC version, which is massively better than the ps1 port, failed so hard in an area where the ps1 version shone. On ps1, you could see the items on the ground, and pick them up easily cause it would be highlighted. Seems a weird thing to have on console but lack on the superior pc version.

Yeah, I am aware of devolutinX and the other mods you can play it on, but I was after the vanilla experience, also on battle net, using mods is extremely risky business since you have no idea if they are going to have a fit and ban you for using a mod like Torch. While the atmosphere is still there, it really made me wish they gave diablo 1 the old QoL remaster it deserves.
