Urgently Needed Affordable Housing for 2 Students & 1 cat!!!
Hello everyone! Myself and my partner are both struggling students of the arts and we really really need to find housing for the upcoming (2026-27) school year! I go to school in Queens and my partner is going to a school in Manhattan, but truly anywhere affordable will do! My partner lives in Rhode Island, so you can understand the need for affordable local housing during the school year, and we intend to permanently settle in the city (I am a native NYCer). I am currently living with my divorced parents (in the same house 😬), but the house is being sold and I need to be moved out by October latest, ideally before September 1st! We are both adults and should be able to earn a small income during the year, but we can't confirm anything yet. We might be able to receive some support from his parents, but mine do not support us living together independently. Please please help us if you are able or know anybody who might be able to help! Any and all responses will be deeply appreciated!!
