My thoughts on Crave

I once went to Madagascar in my travels because I liked the movie when I was a kid. When I came home something was kinda off.

It started as a harmless, intensely itchy bump on my foot that I figured was a bad mosquito bite from trekking near the rivers. But within days, it grew into a hard, painful nodule. One night, sitting on my couch, a bizarre scratching sensation woke me up. I ran to the bathroom mirror, shone a flashlight on my foot, and saw a tiny, microscopic opening at the center of the swollen skin. As I watched, a pearlescent white tip poked out to catch the air, then sank back down. I was hosting a human botfly larva.
At the ER, the doctor opted against cutting it out. Instead, he smeared a thick layer of petroleum jelly over the hole to suffocate it. For an painful hour, I sat in the waiting room, feeling the creature squirm and dig frantically inside my flesh as it ran out of oxygen. When the doctor called me back, he waited with fine forceps until the spiny, bean-sized grub pushed through the grease to breathe. With a quick, sharp tug, he pulled it free.

That was the second worst parasite I’ve ever had. The first being Crave. This site by and far has the worst streaming service I have ever seen. After every commercial break it blacks out and I have to restart the app. Sometimes it will just crash and make me log back in. Speaking of which, cancelling the membership is like taking out a molar with a plastic spoon. You have to go through unbelievable loops just for them to even tell you how to do it. But hey if you wanna upgrade it’s on the front page. The selection is actually good but it’s disgraceful how awful the app is compared to other streaming sites like the continue watch tab just disappearing because why not. I don’t know if Crave reads this but I have a feeling they know they have these issues and will not be fixing them any time soon. So if you have crave, do yourself a favour and don’t. Or just subscribe through prime if you want it that bad.

I paid my landlord rent but he wants more because I’m leaving

I’m a wildland firefighter and I’m staying at a place that charges 900 a month (the average around here is 600). Last year it was 700 and he increased it by 200 when I got there this fire season. I paid him first months rent and told him I found a new place for 500 a month and I am leaving. He exploded at me and said well how am I supposed to rent out that room now, I said I’m not sure. He is l asking me now for another 900 dollars for not just first which I paid but last months rent too, I’m not sure what to do. The other firefighters said because he doesn’t have a contract with me means he’s doing this under the table and basically is using me to pay his property tax between me and the other guy. The other guy who’s rooming with me is also leaving because of the price. Should I pay him? I haven’t even stayed the full month. I took all my stuff out in case because he was full face red when I talked about leaving. What should I do?
